Yeah, most BA's are worthless. Whenever I talk to high school kids, I always tell them to avoid the humanities in university. Nobody ever found a good job with a psych degree (at least not for a few years now, anyway).
That being said, there's plenty of good arts degrees. Education is an art degree. So is law. Most cops have arts degrees as well. Heck, even business is an arts degree at most schools.
BSc's usually pay waaaay better tho. Plus if you've got a science degree, you can almost always find a job.
In my case, I'll end up with a BA in Information Systems. Weird, huh?
BS degrees seemed to be more focused on a specific area. Not sure whether more people get jobs with BS degrees but it's kinda ironic if a BS is more likely to get you a job since it usually takes less classes to get a BS. But it really comes down the the person, experience and knowledge. The degree is kinda secondary these days.
You too, huh? The BS in Comp Sci when I started included Calc I and Calc II, plus Physics. I suppose if I could've passed any of that, I would've gotten the BS.
The BA degree includes more business/management courses, which are more relevant for my chosen career path anyway.
