What's the best/nicest beach you've ever been too?

In the states on the east coast, I've always enjoyed the outer banks and hated florida (no offense to you people from there... what am I saying? - fuck you guys <g>).
galveston texas was the worst one I've ever been to.

IslandGirl likely knows the all time best beach I enjoy going to. nice volcanic rocks with little caves to sit in and white sand... ahhh

U.S.A.:

My family lives on Cape Cod- entire Cape is great- IMO.

Maine: Beaches are very rocky but are beautiful.

Florida- Sanibel Island- Gulf Coast is the best.

I haven't been to many but I really liked Wilmington, NC. Real affluent, young area and a really clean, beautiful beach. Lots to do.

hey pal, g-town is where I surf, so fuck off. Yeah it might not be the best beach in the world but it has a good winter break. I'm sorry that it's not for tourists, but please don't fuck with my beach, it's the only place to surf thats close to houston.
As far as a nice beach to visit, Virginia has a pretty coast line. I think, I haven't been for 4 years.

In the States, Huntington and Newport are real nice. Tressels (near San Clemente ) has good Socal surf but is crowded. PB and Mission are cool in San Diego for partying- you can drink on the beach down there. Kaanapali, Maui is cool too. Ibiza, Spain is the best ive been to though (for partying).

I can second that of Galveston being the worst, it is a toxic waste area. People can't go in the water because it is acidic and corrosive (j/k). The water is black.
