That's right! FREE, HBO! On your desktop!

This is a link to "TVU Networks", just download the tuner/player, and you get HBO, ESPN, NASA, FOX, ABC, CBS, CNN, CARTOON NETWORK, ESPN2...AND MORE! There are 40 channels in all!

I was totally skeptical, but I just installed it and right now I am watching some Brad Pitt flick on the "Hollywood Movie" channel, and what looks like formula one racing on ESPN! This is NOT prerecorded, it's all whats playing right now. I just checked one of the morning news shows on ABC to see the clock and it's dead on, I also called a buddy and had him check his tv listings, HBO varies by region, but the other channels are accurate as all hell!

Enjoy!

it's not what is showing in real time on TV though. I have cartoon network on my TV and the computer and it's two different shows....

Some of the stuff is regional programming, the way I verified was with the morning shows....they are live nation wide.

hmm I'll have to check it out later.

the only reason I kept extended cable was to watch cartoon network's Adult Swim w/ family guy, futurama, and other hilarious shows. If i can get them online for free that would save me like $40 a month....

Netflix all the way for this gal! You can watch them on your desktop, too. =-)

Yeah, from what I have seen it's the real deal....I watched it pretty much all night 'til about 2:45 this a.m., and some things differed due to region but it was the poo. The difference regionally is for advertising and ratings basically as far as what time slots do better for certain programming and adverts. Cable is the same way. Regular HBO programming in the Central time zone is still different than regular HBO in Pacific.
