I don't think there is a polite way. I think that nomatter what someone says, she'll be totally humiliated. I'd think that an anonymous gift on her desk with a nose hair clipper in it and a note that sais "you're a beautiful woman but you might want to work on this" would horrify her but at least you wouldn't get blamed.
