i think puff daddy was one of the more important guys when it came to making rap more popular. he had some awesome shit. the fact is rap sucked before it became "commercialized". it was too boring and annoying. too much talking with no beat or rhythm. nowadays that shit doesnt fly and there is a good reason for it.
