I had a Palm 5x for a year or so and liked the portability but grew tired of the conversion hassles from Windows Apps etc...

I now have one of the new IPAQ 5x series with 64meg and a 128 meg SD card and great hi res color graphics..

Well...I had a Palm but given the fact that it wasn't wireless it was useless. Gave it the janitor.

Now, I can't live without my Blackberry. Wireless "always-on technology" unlike any Palm, Treo, Workpad or other PDA. Could use a couple of improvements but still I couldn't work without it. Talk about a time saver.

Very true. I was in a meeting last month in Baltimore and this guy grabs my palm off the table while I am giving a presentation and starts playing around with the PalmaSutra game. He yells out in the middle of the meeting" Take a look at this" Needless to say I had to beam it to everyone in the room after that

Got Pocket Quicken, few games, and tried the palma sutra when it first came out, didn't work then. The best I have is a program called Weights by Jeff Ayers. It is a lifting log that keeps up with all your exercises. Can run on intensity to tell you to bump up, time. Graphs progress. It beats the hell out of the paper log.

what does patches software mean? id like to dl hackmaster, wordsmith, and palmasutra. am i getting the whole thing?

Patched software is software that has been hacked. it either has the serial # in the zip file or its been patched meaning that the software is set to go on youre palm without having to pay 4 it!
