The hubby and I are looking for a house, vehicle and getting ready to travel back to the east coast for a few days next week.

We are not quite sure where. He would like us to move back to Los Colinas (Irving) but I dont know about that. I am thinking someplace still nice but not so pretentious.

Man tha sounds like most of my weekends. Except tonight our daughter has some thing for her school at the ice arena where we are going to hang out and ice skate with the people from her school or something. Really I'm looking forward to it and my daughter loves ice skating.biteme said:

I know that area well. I prefer the country life myself. I lived in the Suburbs all my life, but after living in the county for 3 years, I don't want to go back to the city life, although there are some things I do miss about it. What I like about this lifestyle is the open space. I never imagined that I would appreciate having my own land, the quietness and open space that this lifestyle provides. A loud motorcycle just went by. I'm gonna shoot him (LOL). I think it's an age thing.

The traffic does suck horribly. I vowed that I would never drive in that crap again. I'd rather make 25k than 100k and have to drive in that traffic everyday. I drove into downtown Dallas last year to apply for a job and I felt so out of place. All the people, traffic, noise, etc, were too much for me. I like the quiet life.

I'm pretty decent at going fast on ice. Its just the whole stopping thing that I can't get the hang of.biteme said:
My daughter isn't that bad for only being 5 and have ice skated twice in her life. She uses the jagged part of her skate to push and kinda run/glide on the ice.
