Tom Sawyer. It really sparked my imagination. I also read quite a bit of Christopher Pike horror books, mainly because he aways found some way to talk about hot chics with big boobs.

Harriet the Spy was the first book I really "connected" to, I actually remember it. I loved the Paddington Bear series, too.
