what video capture card do you guys have???

I want to start taping my lifts for criticism, but only have a standard, but new ( 1 year old ) JVC video camera, no digital outs or anything. I dont know what card to get for my PC. Help PLease!!!

Get an ATI All in wonder card

there are several models, the more expensive ones just have a more powerful chip for better game sperformance, but if that doesn't matter then go for the cheaper options

what are your PC specs?
motherboard type, cpu, PSU rating etc?


also any Geforce video card with VIVO will do it ok as well.

hmm i have a all-in-wonder card, let me look at it. i have the standard CRT out, yellow plug that lokos like it could be an AV connecter and the digital out for LCDs.

well the ATi card should be able to record the Video camera fine, if you play it into the video in, just your standard RCA plug

I have the geforce 2 deluxe pro... too bad the piece of crap isnt very compatable with XP... for videos i use my digicam :d

if you have WinXP, you can import vids using Windows Movie Maker.

i tried using win movie maker but i cant choose a device for video recording ( my ati all in wonder card )

the Ati should come with it's own drievrs and software

if you don't have em, maybe you should try downlaod em from the ATi site
