Tank and Royce are athletes of the past. Please quit dwelling on them. Much like pro football players from 20 years ago couldn't hang in the NFL, mma competitors of old would get their asses spanked these days. It has been an oddly quick metamorphisis though, and I think we owe most of that to the Gracies. If it weren't for them, perhaps people would still tout neighborhood mullet warriors who are "black belts" in Karate and Tae Kwon Do. Straight-up, most martial arts are fucking bullshit if used only by themselves. You can't do a triple flying back kick when you're on your back and you sure as fuck won't find a use for busting boards and bricks down there. Peace.
