what to say to doc, to get liver test?

Ianhockey91 said:
your insurance provider does.
Insurance companies don't have carte blanche to look at your medical records and really bro, the odds of them checking it out because you had a liver enzyme test is about zero.

I have worked for the insurance companies in the past and part of my job was to find reasons, ANY reason not to pay. This includes ANY illegal activity, including steroid use. Abscesses are a different matter bc they are bacterial infections. And don't bet on them not sharing the info. Docs are just not as free (or cool) as we once were to do what we felt was right.
That's just not true bro. I have never seen a ryder in any insurance plan that says specifically that they will not cover expenses if there is ANY illegal activity. Hell, my insurance covered my gyno surgery and I was very upfront with both my dr and my surgeon. Now granted, I had to use a general surgeon rather than a plastics guy but the end result was a quality job.

Order your own test on the internet. Pm me and I'll lead you in the right direction. a fraction of the cost and discrete.

Just tell your doctor you are taking roids. He/she will know exactly what to look out for. You'll feel much better when you are being monitored by a doctor, before, during and after your cycle. I doubt I would have even taken roids if I didn't have a cool doc to look after me.

btw, I think the test is called "ALT".

Dude just get a physical and you'll find out about your liver. Don't be afraid to ask doc if the physical doesn't give you enough info.

Yes, dont listen to the guy who works for insurance companies and just risk it, good call. I know people this has happened too, good luck getting coverage at a reasonable price after this too.

but to just tell your doc,, any doc you are on riods=bad idea.......

you shoud know (since you are the board authority on insurance issues) that over 90% of people with medical insurance have it through a group plan. Under the group plan guidelines you cannot be excluded do to a preexisting condition. That's the whole point to group plans you dummy. It's not that the group insurance in necessarily cheaper. Aslo, if you're saying that you "know people that have been excluded do to gear use" I would say that you're probably a liar.
