What to drink while lifting?

So what do you guys drink while you are lifting? I dont like to drink water because it kind of makes my stomach cramp up. Im also not a huge fan of gatorade because of the amount of sugar in it. Do you guys have anything in particular that you like to drink? Ive been drinking Amino-Vital lately because it tastes good, doesnt make me cramp, and less sugar than gatorade (plus a bit of amino acids)....but damn its expensive.

Anyone got anything great?
 
Purifed water not tap water which I consider dirty.

Gatorade has its palce but not with me being the endormorph/mesomorph I am :)
 
Water or gatorade, usually water. I didn't realize till the other day what an ungodly amount of sugar the stuff actually has in it. On the nutrion label it says something like xx grams of sugar, but I never realized there were 2 servings per bottle.
 
Purified iced water mixed with vanilla whey protein for weight training, or occasionally iced Full Throttle mixed with vanilla whey protein. Purified iced water only for cardio.
 
Gatorade(Dextrose), Glycocarb(Maltodextrin) and Pure Vitargo all mixed into one, 70 ish grams.
 
Every drink a Black Pearl? That's pretty sweet. a energy drink with a NO product in it.

Works great for working out at the gym and at home. :)

No, though Ive had a redline before lifting. It worked well, but considering how high my caffeine tolerance is....the fact that it made me jittery scares me.

Try a black pearl. It's 1/2 of a redline and 1/2 of the PUMP product. It's great to work out on.

Little to expensive for an everyday use but for the sat where you want to work out for good 2-3 hours it's great.

Side note, today I bought a gatorade, poured half into an empty bottle and filled it up with water. That seemed to work pretty well, I didnt get any stomach cramps, and only 75 cals vs 150

Just checked out some online vendors for that. On some sites it's marketed as workout aid, while on others it's marketed as a sex aid.....
 
another thing to do (even though it might taste a little nasty) is drink water while it's warm and not ice cold. We had a problem with that during soccer practices and games--cramping up easily since that's basically all we do is run. Our coach one practice said to just warm up our water jugs, just lukewarm temp. We were able to keep going with whatever we were doing since the temp of the water didn't effect our body temp too much, and never received any cramps. I still do it while working out too and I don't receive any cramps or the likes.

VPX markets it as a sex aid but it works so well in the gym and most gyms around here are selling it as a pre-workout drink.
 
I drink bottled water cause tap water just stinks... Sometimes I'll mix half a cup of oj with water (just for a bit of sugar spike)
