What the hell is wrong with me???

Guys I don't know what is going on in my body but the last couple days I can't get a decent workout for shit! The last week to be exact! I feel fine all day long and like completely normal till it comes time to work out. Then I stretch do my first couple of warm ups and bam on my first heavy set on any body part I get a raging head ache! I am not talkin about just a head ache that comes and goes. I mean this worse than a fuckin migrane! It starts at the base of my skull in the back and rushes to the front of my fore head and I get dizzy and see stars and all the shit but most of all tremendous pain! Then after I go on I guess I get used to it and can finish my workout but I feel like it is holdin me back. and t he pain is there the rest of the night I take a hydro just to tone it down soem to where it is barely noticeable. Next day I feel fine again ti my workouty then the same old shit again...
No I just finished a cycle of test ent. @800mg week, weeks 1-6 and sust @ 750-500mg weeks 8-10. Now I am off and dieting and cutting for my next competition
I have never had problems like this from gear and I have n o Idea what cause this. I am drinkin tons of water and my diet is not drastic enough to cause this yet . I had my blood pressure checked and it was 10 pts. high on the top # and 20 pts. high on the bottom #. He said it is nothin to worry about with a guy my size and it woulod come back down. He counted my heart rate at rest and he said it was so low he couldn't even time it with the clock! He says I am in good shape and I have nothin to worry about it is probably just my diet.
Guys I have dieted before for shows and even right up till 2 weeks out never felt this bad ...I mean I am still gettin about 150 g carbs a day. wtf!
Has this ever happend to any one else???
can anyone offer an opinion?
I just hope it isn't a fuckin anuerism or somethin of that nature. Help if you know any thing..:confused:
 
The recent climate changes probably have something to do with your problems. If you are in a temperate area right now, you need to take it easy and accilimate.

Otherwise, make sure you are getting enough carbs (complex and simple) to keep your brain healthy. And if yo are taking Ephedrine or any ripped fuel type stack get off of that shit. Ephedra gives me horrible headaches.
 
Takin animal cuts at the moment it has a shit load of stuff like that in it but they have never bothered me before I have taken everything from beta-lean to xenadrine to hydroxycuts. It very well couldl be the cuts though I never though of taht cause it started on the same fuckin day I took it for the first time!:idea: Damn you may be onto it here bro! any other ideas?
 
I've heard some people get gnarly headaches on thermogenics, probably because it increases blood pressure.
I don't know, bro but I''l give you a bump.
 
Also, are you going to the gym on an empty stomach? How long after a meal do you wait to train?

I try to time my last meal 2 hours before the start of my workout, and I will usually make this something that digests quickly, like a met-rx with a little nat. peanut butter and some oatmeal or cream of wheat thrown in.

If you are taking and ECA before, try taking a little less.

Clen along with an ECA can give headaches as well.

i don't think it's the climate or your diet. it's your training, your b.p., your recent increase in size, and some type of vulnerability of the vessels in your head to swell and get annoyed with physical exertion.

i had this exact same problem before, but i was also taking ult. orange every workout for 3 months straight.

are you taking anything before your workout? if you are, stop, then try working out. if you still get headaches, stop working out for no less than 1 week and then try a few light workouts. if you are still getting headaches... you need to go to the doctor.

I eat about 2hrs before my work out and almost always at least an hour and a 1/2 but I am beginig to wonder if it is the eca. It was leg day when I started this shit and I was fine until I went for my 1st heavy set then bam! It was like a ton of bricks had landed on me i saw spots and my head hurt from the top of my neck all the way to the front of my fore head. And Ihad to sit down. I dunno have never had a problem like this out of fat burner...:( The swollen vessels sound about right that is why I am freakin out . I don't want to get a bleed or nothin.)

What's up Bro? I haven't seen you since the bodybuilder.org site folded up man. My handle over there was IronLfter. Anyway man, I know what you mean about these fucking headaches. I used to have the exact same problem and it would come and go. Thank goodness i haven't had the problem in a year or two.

I used to be the same way...would be fine all day and start my workouts and bam!! The pain would kick in on my first intense set...especially if it was bench, squats, deads or chins. I would force myself through the workout and would even tie a rag around my head as tight as I could ( I looked like I was trying to be fucking Rambo or something) to cut off the circulation and the throbbing. I could feel my temples throbbing against the rag. I know that wrapping something that tight during a workout probably wasn't wise, but I was so pissed about the pain interrupting my workouts that I would do anything to get through them.

During this time I also noticed the pain would come on during sex too. It seemed that any physical activity would bring on the headaches. Hell, I would have an orgasm and then would feel like my brain was going to explode man.

I seemed to notice the occurence of the pain decreasing when i stopped doing dumbell flyes. I think my problem was a pinched nerve and it seemed to be stimulated by doing flyes with dumbells.

This may not be of much help to you Boom Boom, but maybe there is a certain exercise that is causing this for you too. If you can isolate which exercise it is then maybe that would help. Anyway, bro I just wanted you to know that you aren't the only one out there who has had this problem. Best of luck to you and take care.

I use to get a really sick feeling of lipokinetics, which had norephedrine and other stuff in it. I felt like I had the flu body aches and cold sweats, it sucked.
 
Iron lifter Wasssup bro man I don't know what it is lately but I have been seeing all the old bb.org fellas! I found small, Juiced Pig, stryfe, you I feel like I am at a fuckin reunion or somethin. Man that kinda worries me man can it all started on squat day which makes me think it coudl be a pinched nerve in my neck or somethin caused by the heavy squats. Fuck! I hope that isn't what it is or I will just have to die dude I am not going to quit squatting . As a matter of fact today is leg day and I am gonna squat just a s heavy as I can and if I somethin happens oh fuckin well! I am tire of always gettin one thing fixe just to have some thin else fuckin goes wrong! from now on I will lift until I can't any more!

Same thing happened to me about 5 years ago, as soon as I started lifting in the gym, boom a pounding headache. Went to see a neurologist and everithing was fine. Turned out I was overtraining and that was my body's way of telling me to back up the intensity. Stopped lifting for 3 weeks and started back very lightly, and dropped all my supplements ( I was taking hot stuff at that time and animal packs or something like that, but not gear, so i guess it was not gear-related) and never again had the headaches.

Hey Man I am EXACTLY THE SAME. Your idea to go get you blood pressure checked was right on the money as that IS what is causing it. My bp was about the same as yours and just like you my heart rate was like 45 or something ridiculously low. So, my solution was to do cardio before lifting heavy for twenty minutes to really get your heart going and get the blood flowing through you. What I think happens is your blood pressure is a little high and when you jump on the bench and start with a heavy set the sudden rush of blood to your brain causes a massive headache and believe me I know exactly how bad they are! Anyway, I posted here too and got advice to lower blood pressure by taking asprin and maybe a light diretic because water retention will raise bp too, and if you just got off of a test cycle like that this might be of some help. Anyway, they will go away soon, maybe a week or two depending on how long your last shot was, but until then do everything to lower bp and I think you will find it to help, at least it did for me, increased cardio also really helped me. New to this and getting ready to start first cycle, but still have info that might help. I am hypoglycemic and I will get the type of head aches that you are talking about. I am not saying that you are hypo what I am saying is the eca combined with low carbs are your problem. The brain runs off of carbs. During intense exersize you use carbs as a source of quick energy and you are robbing your supply of carbs and putting your self in a hypo type state. You said you just came off of a bulking cycle and are now on a cutting cycle which would mean that you are larger and that your body needs more to suport itself. I am guessing here but I asume that most of your carbs that you are eating are after you have worked out or latter in the evening that is why you feel beter in the mornings. Try this cut out the eca intill you get the carbs right and then you can restart them and see how things go. what I mean by getting your carbs right is consume the majority of your carbs in the morning say 60% then 20% an hour or so after your work out and then 20% towards the end of the day say 2 hours or more before bed time. When you do get the head aches or fill one coming on drink some juce like OJ or Pineapple and it will help some. I've noticed that when you get one of the head aches full blown they are a bitch to get rid of.
Here is how I feel before and when I get the head aches, first I feel realy good and am in a good mood, then I notice that I am starting to get cranky, vision will become hazy and or spoty. sometime alittle out of focas,
Then the head ache that starts behind the eyes, then bam like I just got hit by mike Tyson dull throbing head ache that just wont go away.
I am not a doctor so read what I have said and if this sounds like your problem then try my advice and hope you feel better Bro, If you need any help just drop me an email and I will be more than happy to help

I feel for your problem. If you are going to start taking any Blood Pressure meds, you might want to try Zestoril. My doctor has told me that it is great for the kidneys and they are even giving it to people who don't have high blood pressure but do have some kidney disorders(diabetics) albeit in small dosages.

I used to get them all the time but I have taken this medication in different doses (5mg, 10mg 20mg) for the last year and nothing.

It really helps especially if you are under a lot of stress. Some of the other BP meds can make you dizzy and nauseous so think about perhaps trying this one.

i had something like this happen a couple of years ago...i was doing heavy incline presses and felt something pop which what seemed to be in the back of my skull....everything was fine until the next morning....i felt exactly how you are feeling....i would get so dizzy that sometimes i would pass out....vision was always blurry...it was really F*cked up...it seemed like it would happen everytime i lifted any weight...so i just stopped everything...no lifting...no nothing.....for about 6 months and i havent had the problem since...
i dont know if it is the same thing....i'm just telling you what happened to me
 
BoomBoom, when I first started working out as a teen I went through the same thing. The pain got so bad I went to the emergency room a couple of times. Naturally their answer was not to lift weights! What I did find out was I had high blood pressure and that I had strained myself doing heavy benchpresses using bad form. I went to the doc and got the BP in order and lightened up the poundages and learned proper form and it went away. Also got on some BP meds.

Hey BOOM, I',m in the same damn shit as you right now. I'm fuckin pissed. For the past month my strength has gone down and I feel no motivation. My body aches all over and I am prone to injury. My fuckin wrist is slightly fractured, my rotator cup is bothering me and I think Im getting tendonitis in my left elbow. This frigin sucks, especially right before my cycle. I have all my gear but can't start because of my coinditions. IM PISSSED!!!!! I just wanna go downstairs and blast a shot in my ass right now but I can't. i had intense headaches once when i was trying to up my intensity.. then i realized i was pushing my neck back too hard on the bench press

no BP issues.. lucky me
 
i had the same thing happen to me.. does it hurt when u have sex or ejactulate?
i went to get a MRI done and it showed nothing. i thought it was an aneurism.
i took off a week from training and it went away.

You hit it right on the head spunky.Me and the girl were gettin with it in the shower and I was like kinda breathin hard ( I feel like a moron) and I got ready to blow and damn it got so intense I had to stop and I put my head under the shower and the heat seemed to help but it was like I could feel every heart beat with just intense pain. And we continued and when i shot it was like the most intense head ache I have ever felt in my head and I thought I was going to pass out. And the vapor from the shower made the throbbing 10 times worse. Today I felt pretty strong and all squattin and I actually squated more than ever and it wasn't so intense but, I took 4 alieve and it always helps but I shouldn't have to take shit like that just to get through a work out. I found that focusing on my breathing during a set like taking deep slow breaths between reps actually helped when I felt it coming on strong but it was still there. And like even now i still have it and will the rest of the night after working out. I dunno guys I feel like it is probably blood pressure becuase of the gear but somethin tells me it is more serious than that and that scares the hell out of me.
I want to thank all of you who have responded to this post and tryed to help by sharing what you have experienced. And if you have any other ideas that you think could be relevant please feel free to let me know I am by no means ruling out anything at this point.
 
i have the same exact problem now man. check out my post and see if its the same thing youre feeling. scaring the shit out of me too. used the machine at wal mart (yeah, i know...) and it said my bp was 150 over 64. i asked the pharmacist and she said it was fine. i dont know what the hell is going on...

Your headaches could be due to something serious,or maybe not.Best bet-see your doc,and be straight up with him on what you are taking.Young men are prime candidates for cluster headaches,and there are some really effective treatments for them(they don't go away easily by themselves).Unless yur B/P is ding some crazy stuff while you lift,I doubt it is the culprit.(150/90 is usually not enough to cause the severe headaches you describe)

I just read your last post Boom Boom about the sex thing and that is exactly the same problem I was having man. You described it perfectly. It's like your head pounds in rhythm with your heart beating and it's like a damn drum just pounding away at your skull and immense pressure like it wants to explode. Blood pressure might be the problem, but I am pretty sure mine was caused by that damn pinched nerve. Again good luck bro and thanks again Drifter. -late

i can almost guarantee you problem is not blood pressure thats what i though to, but if it BP you would get the same problem running up a flight of stais or doing cardio when you heart rate goes up, i dosent dose it?, Do you feel a twitch in one of your eyes?
if feel likes its just under the skin right? see a chriopractor bro i cant be certain but i believe i pissed of my neck doing behind the neck presses heavy with bad form one day and bam after that it was almost three weeks of headpain

whats up bro, I have the same problem, I though it was blood pressure for a while, NOPE BP is fine though i had a blood clot, checked out NOPE not that, whent and saw a neck specilist, he checked me out and determined that my left side of my neck had been erritated during a lift or some exercise it caused the left trap to sweell and stiffin not enough to notice in a mirror but enought to pinc a nerve in my vertabra at i believe he said C4 or C5
these nevers have a connection to the membrain that runs between you skull and brain, and they also effect eye movment i would feel a slight pinch in my neck and bam it would shot through my neck up the base of my skull around the head to my forehead and hit my left eyeball causing my left eye to twitch uncontollably, the DOC realigned my neck and gave me some stretching exercises and told me to ice it evrey day 20 on 20 off about 4 or 5 times and to only train with light weights and high reps for a few weeks

I once had all the previously mentioned symptoms post cycle. What worked for me was both going to the chriopractor and getting more sleep. I believe that the most beneficial was the extra sleep. Get about 10 hours sleep for 2 weeks and see if that works for you too. In the meantime use a pain reliever to get through your workouts.
