What the hell, 50 cents CD is sold out everywhere here

Although I already downloaded it I wanted to buy the real one but it was sold out everywhere I went. So much for downloading music slowing down CD sales.

well great for the both of you. I download all my music but if I really like something I'll buy it.

i am the same way...i havent bought a cd in a while though

I haven't bought one in a while myself. This would have been my 1st CD since 2pac 2nd lastest one but I tried today. 50 Cent and the record company don't really need my $15. Afterall the shit was sold out. They're doing just fine. The RIAA is bitching about people downloading music but how about at least having enough of a new CD in stock?

The reason music sales are down, most of the current music sucks. People wre making copies for friends for many years before the net was popular. I only buy Green Day cd's, the rest of the music I download from the net. BTW~ The Whole F/N Show, I didn't intend to put you down with my other post.

They sell 400,000 copies cuz most teenagers are lemmings and impressionable, while the older crowd are more bitter and more selective in what they buy. Besides, most record companies could care less what kinda music the 30+ crowd likes anyways.

When you're in High School, you want to waer a shirt of the hot new band on the radio. You don't want to wear a shirt of a good local band, or AC/DC. You'll get laughed at that you got the shirt from your dad. :)

Um, as far as i know, NOONE would want to wear and ac/dc shirt in public. :D

Seriously though, you may not like 50cent, but not everyone bought the album because of marketing. Anyone into the club scene would probably say "in da club" is HOT right now. Give teenagers some credit. They're not all like the ones on TRL. We were always into the local scene in high scholl. Of course, that was when grunge was big...

In the words of Outkast "Try to run up on Hammer...Hammer willl kick yo' ass" ;)

If you guys want to support the artists themselves, why not just downlaod the cd and DIECTLY send the artist the money instead of letting the labels get their paws on their bear's share.

Hammer & Vanilla had very little skills.

On the other hand Nelly actually has some skill, people just like to hate b/c he pulls a lot of ass and duets with bitches like "Dilemma" dont exactly help your street credibility. Songs like "St. Louie" didnt get airplay & he does have a few solid tracks (solo & with the St. Lunatics)
