What should i do? (wrist problems)

For a few months now, i have had pains in my wrists.. especially during preacher curls when i let the bar back on the stand and let go off the bar it hurts my wrists.. it seems to be getting worse... I've been trying to ignore it in the past and just let my wrists strenghten up.. but atm i don't see that possible.. generally i see myself as the sort of person with the attitude "if i ain't dieng why do i need a doctor"

What do i do?

Lots of things to try:
Ice 2x a day
Icy-Hot or type of warm/menthol creme pre workout
Cool cream post workout
All kinds of wrist and hand stretches
Wear some APT wrist wraps when you train for a while (I like theirs, not too much and not too little support)
Change bicep exercises for 2-4 weeks (dbells, maybe hammer curls)
Do some grip work (timed bar holds, front and reverse forearm curls, etc...)

The repetitive movements associated with weight lifting can cause , soreness and damage to the small tendons in the hand and wrist.

I suggest purchasing a pharmacutical grade of of Glucosamine Chondroitin. Make sure you get it from a reputable health store like Whole Foods. Also , do not try to save money and get a lesser brand , because the levels will not be high enough to make a difference in your discomfort.

I have had pain in the past after lifting , in the area between my thumb and first finger . where the bar rest , and the pain was horrible. I started taking this supplement and it cleared up in a couple of days , and has not returned.
