I don't think the dude uses gear,not that it matters anyway.
 
no drugs needed for that.
Just discipline, passion, hard work.
 
Let me just tell you from personal experience little of that is actually strength but all endurance. And if you work out any that stuff doesn't weigh much its just all VO2 max.

You're probably right about them not using gear. I was on the website and they are drug tested athletes that have to abide by the NCAA's banned substances list.

I don't think it is mostly endurance. That looks like POWER, strength, speed, endurance, agility... a bit everything.

Just curious for conversation purposes, what would your (this question is for everyone) cycle look like for that sport?

I don't know bro... A 155 lb. endurance athlete with a great VO2 max can probably run 20 km's in 80 minutes.... This same endurance athlete wouldn't stand a chance draging that dummy (almost 200 lbs.) at the end... especially after completing all of the other tasks.

I know what you're saying, a good VO2 max will help, but someone without strength and power will not complete that course.
