What protein shake do you take while cutting?

Just curious what everyone's preference is in regards to low calorie, most quality protein, and best test. Let's say price is no concern.

EAS Simply Whey Protein 190 cal, 0 fat, 30grams protein, 0 carbs.
$29.00 5 lb jug NutritionExpress.com shipping 4.95 regardless how big the order!

How many servings per container?

Radar, you've gotta have a typo in there. 190 cals, only 30g protein, NO carbs or fat? The 30g protein only accounts for 120 cals, where are the other 70 coming from?

ChemicalAnarchy Protein both bulking and cutting. really noticed a difference when i first switched to it. i was suprised by the difference. only thing is that its unflavored and after going through prolly 50lbs of this stuff the taste is awful in water. mixed with anything else though it goes down well

ChemicalAnarchy Protein is the highest quality whey protein isolate produced
through a selective ion exchange process. Anarchy Power Protein has the highest reported
(PDCAAS) Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score of 1.14. The fat
and lactose levels are less than 1%. PP is instantized and is sold with no
sugar/carb, no vitamins/minerals(just nauturally occurring) and no
artificial flavors. Anarchy Power Protein has very little flavor even when mixed with plain water. ChemicalAnarchy Protein can be mixed with water, milk, friut juice, friut smoothies and sport drinks.(

2lbs has apx 34 25gram servings.
1/3 cup = 25grams of protein.

ChemicalAnarchy Protein is available at these price increments:

2lbs-9lbs and higher $9/lb.
10-20lb is $8/lb.
25lb to 45lb is $7.5/lb.
50lb is $350

isopure is the best by far . Zero fat , zero carbs , zero lactose .

Expensive but the best by far

Hey there,

I'm a little surprised by what I would consider (no offense) some pretty crappy answers.

There are virtually two kinds of whey protein (and you specifically asked what kind of whey to take). Concentrate (80%) and Isolate (90%).

The answer is probably both. A mix after workouts and a mix before if you are into pre-workout shakes, and all concentrate otherwise (it is absorbed slower).

A lot of the price of the retail brands has less to do with content than with flashy packages and name brand premium.

Some mixes include carbs and/or fats, but you will probably want to have those seperatly so you can better control them.

What is really comes down to is quality and price - and the answer is allthewhey.com (and I make not a penny from them and they have made many from me).

I decided to try isopure apple melon instead of nitro tech chocolate that i always drink. It tasted like shit! I was stuck with it for a month while in europe, had to hold my nose while chugin it down....the already made isopure is awsome! but for home shakes, nitro tech is my bitch.

LOL! I'm busted, i was going from memory, I use 3 scoops instead of 2

2 scoops 77 servings, 4 grams carbs, 2 grams fat-120 calories! 20 grams protein.

Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey for post workout, and Designer's Glycerlean is what I take before bed, lasts 8 hours.

I just went through a 5lbs tub of ON 100% Whey and I think it is good stuff especially for the price.

BUUuuuut, I went back to buy another tub of it at my local supp store and the guy there suggested I try MRM(metabolic REsponse Modifiers) Metabolic Whey powder. It was $34 for a 5lbs tub so I figured why not. Well this guy knows what he's talking about besides the fact that he's fuggin yoked. I've done a couple of workouts since switching to this protein and I can't honestly say I have noticed an improvement, but I also definitely haven't noticed a slower recovery since switching from ON 100% Whey. Maybe slightly better, hard to say.

The best thing is it tastes pretty damn good in milk and has a creamy, tasty flavor. Definitely better than ON's chocolate flavor which I think is pretty good overall. Also it seems to digest a little better too.

Good stuff, and no I'm not affiliated with these guys in any way, shape, or form.

...and I use ON Whey Protein. I used to use theor Pro-Complex, but regular ON Whey tastes better. Sometimes I use Cytosport by cytodyne as well. My last 2 jugs tasted funny though.

I have used about everything under the sun and trust me, you cannot beat Beverly International's Muscle Provider or Ultra Size for a powdered protein source when trying to seriously cut up or when dieting. I usually use ON's Pro Complex 55 during off times and when things start to get a little more serious I switch over to Beverly. Also, can add in there Liver and Amino tabs which are also excellent! The difference is night and day. Not an endorsement either, I have no ties with these guys at all.

Man, the quality is just by far superior to any product I've ever used at an OTC place like GNC or Vitamin World. I really couldn't tell you exactly but I've used other products during off times and also to prepare for shows a few years back without as much success. As soon as I replace my current protein products with Beverly's and using them for past shows my strength levels and conditioning are by more greater. I can use their products right up to the day of the show without even suffering any bit of water retention or blurriness in definition. I'm telling you it's Grade A shit! Just get's a little pricey to consistenly use all of the time and also a little more time consuming because it tastes a whole lot better when used in a blender and mixed with some type of light fruit like strawberries where I can just throw some ON Pro Complex in some water, stir it for a few seconds, and down it. But, give it a shot for awhile some time and see for yourself.

Bottom line ,you need to keep trying different ones until you find the one that suits your needs!
