In fairness though, I read his off topic comments as further evidence of his intent. Perhaps he is just a kid, and will grow out of it, but he should be encouraged along the way for his own self interest.

The trend on here seems to jump on someone first and clarify later. And for some it's to overwhelm with large amounts of text describing why their own view is right and the other's is plainly wrong. And in doing so, forgetting to take into account that what they're doing is ignoring the real thing the person intended to state.

Actually, Burning Inside was the only one who gave this thread a shred of validity. The only value it had at all was to call attention to the problem that STILL exists here on elite C&C. Those of us with a brain in our heads knew he was screaming, "I am a fucking moron" from the very first post. However, the little he-man woman haters around here oughtta realize is that if perhaps there wasn't a history of countless threads were a bunch of silly little apes went on and on about "how all women are dumb whores" at worst or "women are nothing more than a life support systems for the pussy" at best then the atmosphere on C&C might be a little different and people like me and Jersey would be a little less inclined to give a fahootie about a random moron like Burning Inside spewing obvious trash.

Women are the only group that is still deemed socially acceptable on elite C&C to trash regularly. Threads that degrade and/or belittle NIGGERS, KIKES, WOPS, SPICS, TOWELHEADS, FAGS, etc last about 2 seconds before they are locked, thank goodness. The atmosphere around here has gotten 1000 times better in the very recent past but sadly it wasn't all that long ago when vile and offensive threads were regularly began, proliferated and tolerated here on elite C&C.

I am quite pleased for the changes that administration had affected being less tolerant of such comments, but there is still a very long way to go. I continue to get many, many emails, karma notes, PM's thanking me for having the balls to step up and express the views of many other females who are frankly afraid of getting "cyber" ambushed for "daring" to open their mouths. Yea, yea... we are all just words on a screen.

NOT.

I am not saying that ALL MEN feel this way or that they don't find it equally offensive. What I am saying is that these attitudes ARE tolerated more than the negative attitudes towards any other NON white straight American man group. That is all. Nothing more and nothing less.

If you have over 8,000 posts you've obviously been here a long time. Hopefully you've seen some of my posts by now to know when I'm being sarcastic and serious. My comment about girls post 1975 is prime example of my sarcasm. I'm not that rude of a person. Both women as well as men are seen to be devious by most people. Most people feel both guilty and hateful to some extent.

Many women have gone through the man-hating phase, and, just as some girls are driven to guilt by social expectations (by both men and women), some men are driven to guilt.

Addressing "certain" males as "little apes" is equivalent to addressing "certain" females as "angry dykes". No matter how legitimate you feel your own hatred or bias is, there is always give and take. Joining in such irrational parlance is a waste of your time.

Plornive I see what you are saying - but the boys that are behaving as little apes only get that title because THAT is what they are portraying themselves as, nothing more and nothing less. I have and do speak equally harshly of females that are ill-representative of the population. Actually moreso than not as I am female.
