What martial art would you recommend for discipline?

Wrestling is by far the ultimate disipline. Any good wrestler would kick the shit out of any so called "master" in these other disciplines!!

It has nothing to do with 'what art?'.

It completely depends on the instructor and how he runs things

I see what you're saying, but I think it's too general a statement. Some forms are merely practiced when in the dojo or studio, but some forms are a way of life. I believe that TKD is a highly commercialized form that kids pick up when they go to practice and leave it there when practice is over. Others like Jeet Kune Do and Tai Chi Ch'uan are forms that the practitioner actually lives day in and day out. It is much less about the teacher than it is about the practitioner.

For many years now I have been studying the secret art of Wang -Baseball Bat- Do.

Very few people know of it's existence and it takes upward of 20+ years to master.

Remember...there is nothing but you and the bat.:splat:
