I have a Tacoma 4x4. Bought new in '95. I got 95 k miles on her now, but she runs like brand new. Just change the oil and rotate the tires besides that I haven't done anything else to her.

On sat my girl just picked up a 2001 Ram Ext Cab, Short Bed, 4X4, tow package,5.9L engine..
Dpnt ask me why, I have no iodea why a 19yr old girl needs this monstrosity but she likes it so I guess thats all that matters. I wouldve invested my money and bought an s-10 which is smaller , but then she might not have all that power she loves...
If ya cant dodge it, RAM it!!

Just got rid of my 2nd Chevy 350. I will not own another chevy truck. I had nothing but small problems with both trucks. I had both for 2 years and all kinds of small problems. They were under warranty, but I would hate to see what happened when they went out of warranty. I am going back to Ford. The Chevy looks much better, but I got to have something I feel comfortable in.

Well, my damn jeep broke down again, so I'm going to lease something new. I am on a college student's budget, so I'm not gonna be getting a Dodge Ram or F-350. Prolly somethin a lot cheaper like an S-10 ext cab, or Tacoma. What kind of car or trucks do you guys recommend I look at for under $20,000??? Thanks

P.S. I'm not getting any used car because I'm tired of dealing with used car problems.

Ford fan here, but I think the F-150's are styled a little too soft, IMO.......So my last 2 trucks have been Dodge Ram 1500 Sport. Knock on wood, no problems with either one of them, my newest one is a 2000 club sport 4 door (suicide doors) 6.5 foot bed, with the 360 engine. Other than probably going through brakes a little soon (all full size trucks will have this prob) and the $40 week gas bill, Dodge makes a good truck, higly recommend 'em.
