Whatever happens it is gonna be interesting.
I was thinking yesterday about the breakthroughs with Abbas and it is so interesting waiting to see whats next.
BTW, I thought it may interest you to know that the general publi opinion in Israel right now regarding developments in gaza seems to be a mixture of surprise and disbeleif, like "yeh we have seen this before and nothing changed" so many people are like ok, lets see if this holds up, once it holds up we will beleive it...
The problem in these situations is its when the minorities always wait for the smallest thing to prance on and make a big scene, then the press uses the situation to sell newspapers (the press are the biggest hinderance to the peace process IMO) and kaboom, everything escalates.
It is so fragile, will have to see what happens, but Abbas seems to have the capabilities of pulling it off on his side.
So interesting.
