What is your favorite PS2 RPG game?

I finally bought a PS2 this weekend, and my wife and I started taking turns at Final Fantasy X which is pretty cool.

But I'm looking to see what else is out there from in the RPG format. I'm looking for a good character building game.

Give me some suggestions...

Well.....I know that Vel loves Half-life and my cousin loves GTA3 -



That's all I know, as I have the vastly superior XBOX - lol

I want GTA3, I want Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and I want a pony.

although doesn't matter much since I don't have an XBox, GameCube, nor a PS2. nor room for a pony.

We have super bust a move, the bubble bobble game ... tony hawk, FF X, GTA3 and State of Emergency. But that doesn't really answer your question, I haven't played any other RPG's on it.

They have a pirate game out though and IGN reviewed it as the best pirate game ever. What that means I don't know.

Schweeler as of now there aren't really any great RPGs other then FF10, come mid summer get Xenosaga, Grandia 2 actually is worth it from what I know and that is out

How about Baldour's Gate? I know it is a little old, but all the reviews rave about it.
