What is your company doing for 9/11?

Holiday, time of remembrance, moment of silence?

Our office does not open until 11:00, and then TV will be on throughout the building all day to gather and watch commemorations and such.

We are still stuck trying to decide. I hate this politically correct bullshit, we can't take a moment of silence because that is pushing religion and we can't do anything special because that would upset people and make them think of things that they don't want to think. Damn large companies and their need to cater to everyone. I think we are all going to just end up wearing red, white and blue or a ribbon or something. This way we are being patriotic and not pushing anything. Everyone here also has a floating holiday they can take just in case.

since i work with kids its up to me what we do... i think as of now we are going to just have a moment to talk about it... then we're gonna paint up some folders in an american way... something constructive...

time off? hahahaha, not gonna happen.

It is going to be a regular day with and added attraction.....

A pot luck lunch that won't have any food that I can eat. Anyhow..it will be good to share the day with others.
