I have these sections of raised tissue on both sides of my face, at approximately the same spot, just under my eyes, at about the highest point of my cheekbones.

When I tan, it gets darker and worse, then subsides, leading me to believe it is scar tissue...but from what???? It is possible that it's from a zit, I've had zits on each spot before, but I do not have this anywhere else on my face. It is not very noticeable, but it is bugging me because I don't know wtf it is or where it came from.

I have attached a pic of our friend may, where I have colored in the appx spot and size it is on my face. Jokes to a minimum please.

sorry frack, cant help you. i've never had this happen, then again i have perfect skin.

LOL...for those who DON'T know...let me reiterate, this is NOT me...I am farrrrr far prettier than May1010. :^)

Now let's get some serious replys por favor.

MAY WOULD USE SPERM AND RUB IT ON HIS FACE TO SEE IF IT WILL HELP THE SITUATION.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT FRACK.

Sounds a little like Melasma, could be:
eczema
atopic dermatitis
acne rosacea (not the same thing as acne vulgaris)

Gotta go to a dermatologist to be sure. Skin conditions are best checked out early on.

It COULD BE an age spot. I know your not old. An age spot is just an acummilation of free radicals in that particular spot underneath of the skin.

The skin underneath the eye is very dilicate and thin...I hope your not tanning that area.

Bwaaaaaa, Roadblock is cracking me up, Philadelphia, LOL

Frack, its from sleeping with your cabbage patch kids, dont hold the Premies so close to your face, yes they love you I promise but they need not to be strangled or held so tightly to your cranium region.

On the real though, it could be scar tissue from previous acne that is still inflamed, when you tan the melanin and sunlight is causing it to become more inflamed and irritable, I would lay off whatever is inflaming it my good man. Its just a reaction, a negative one it seems. peace

gotta go to the dermatalogist to make sure. They can give you some good lotion that will bring down the irritation.

If you're on a cycle, perhaps androgen lines? I had them pretty bad when I was on a high adrogenic cylcle, looked like I had two bruises on my cheek bones. Are you on?

Its called Kaposi sarcoma....just watch the movie Philedelphia and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Just think, It will be very handy to keep the Sun from blinding you when you go to catch that 45yd down/out pass..

Sounds like allergies to me. Have you been using some new product on your face?

Yes actually, I suppose it MIGHT be this stuff making it worse, I have been noticing it more since I started using this product but...

It is Neutrogena "Skin Clearing Acne Treatment" with Retinol...it's fucking awesome BTW, the best acne treatment I've ever used, even better than their Multivitamin Acne formula with topical b-5...

Frack,

I would cease using the neutrogena for about one week. If they do not get much better by the end of that week then you need to go to the dermatologist and have it checked out. It seems to me that it is an irritation or reaction of some kind.

Retin-a products and sun or tanning booths do not mix, makes your skin 3x more sensitive to UV-A and B.

Shit Ana I was wondering about that...it says nothing about it on the package though.

About how long do you think the sensitivity would last? A day after application?? A couple days?

This is the first time I've ever seen someone with a dingleberry on their face.:D

Prettier.......is that a good thing for a guy to be "prettier" ? LMAO

Guys can be pretty too... Long eyelashes, nice smile, dimples, good hair... You got any of that stuff? You might be pretty and not even know it :D

seriously, it might not be anything. sometimes things like taht appear later in life when cells are reproducing. I have a mole on the side of my eye that developed wheni was 14. You probably want to get it checked out anyway. Esp. if it's an irregular shape or color.

As long as you are using the product your skin will be a little more sensitive than usual.

If I were you I would wear spf 15 on my face while in the booth, while you are using this product. You will still tan and you will reduce any further damage.

Protect your skin boy.

You're tanning your face because it helps w/ breakouts?
Is that why?

Here's what I do...if I lay in the booth I cover my face and neck, and then just apply a self tanning cream to neck and face so I don't look funky.
The self tanning cream keeps my face free of breakouts and actually clears any breakouts if I have any. I use Nuetrogena(sp?).

As a man, being pretty and calling yourself pretty are two different things. One is unfortunate, and the other is just gay.

Well honeynut knows what I look like, I am not 'pretty' in the Leo Dicaprio sense...

Nah, you don't look harmless enough for me to call you pretty. Dangerous, brooding, mysterious, edgy pretty is what you are.
