yeah, but this board has the most traffic by far. its literally 10 times as much traffic as the next biggest board. most of the others are just too slow for my tastes. seems all the best of the best guys congregate here.....but its also one of the most unfairly run sites i have seen on the net. poor choice of mods basically. but why abandon the board, which is made or broke by US, because of some bad mods? not like we can revolt or anything. lol. would be funny though if we all did rise up and stop posting and there was nothing left but mods.

I love the wealth of information on this board, I really do ... but lately there is a lot of bullshit here and mostly cause of the size of the board.

unfortunately i found that the good (wealth of info, good bro's) and the bad (the bullshit we won't go into) go hand in hand, and are present on all the biggest of any of the "enthusiast" boards. can't have a big heavily trafficked board full of info and good guys w/o some jerkoffs and people with god complex's around. that would be just too perfect.

seems that a lot of the stupid retard type posters wreak havoc and its OK, as you say letting it slide.....but when someone challenges a mod in any way, then they are on a shitlist with them and get posts locked, deleted etc......so some of the more outspoken members who contribute get shit, while the 15 year old trollers don't get much attention. there should be freedom of opinion and speech on here whether a mod likes it or not, so long as no rules are broken. i know its a "private board w/ rules" and all, but there needs to be consideration for the individual.

What criteria is used when determining someones credintials for becoming a moderator. With the exception of Huck, Macro and Zyg, I don't see what the others have to offer. Very rarely do I see the others post with any intelligence and regularity.

that is the million dollar question. many mods actually get a bit pissy when one of us "non-mods" posts something that makes them look less intelligent or what not. and then start deleting and modifying things. most of them are good guys though actually TBH.....just a few have god complex's is all. i'll be quiet now..............

Well, I missed the post you are talking about, so can not speak of it.
Just from my observation, only on this board Mods are getting shit from members on a regular basis, and it's considered to be normal here. Try it on some other boards, good luck!

OK, I stand corrected. I went back and checked on a few threads and found quiet a few mod's posting. But some of the post's that I read were ignorant. I think it is just to add to their post counts. One, stands out more than others because of his personal vendetta against Nelson. Because of this, he gets off of topic much too easy. For every one of his intelligent posts, there is 3 - 4 bad ones. Stay to the basics guys and answer the questions. No need to get cute. Others should do the same, as I should myself. Post count is un-important compared to intelligence.

The intelligence level of the members and mod's is what made this the biggest and best board. Don't forget where you came from, as if you do, you will be back there.
