what is the name of the elitefitness cookie?

runner

New member
i'm having strange problems...when i log into elite on IE6.0 (NT 4.0) i get no cookie created. i don't have this problem with other sites. i destroyed all my cookies, thinking perhaps the EF cookie was corrupted or something, but no luck.

i can log in...it says "welcome, runner", but then no cookie is created. i can only post using netscape, where i don't have the same problem. i haven't tried using another box, though i haven't changed any EF profile settings or any internet options on this machine.

i'm thinking i may have to copy my EF cookie from another machine and paste it on this one unless there are other suggestions...

TRY THIS HOLMES...

Click HOME icon at the top of EF page
Click LOGOUT at the bottom of that page (should say all cookies cleared)
Click Home icon again
Login with your username/pw at the bottom of that page
New cookie shluld be created..

Vanilla Wafers!

I think, maybe....

Go to the Security options in IE 6.0 and set the cookies to accept, on, whatever the hell they call it.

In your profile are you set to browse the board with cookies? Make sure that is turned on.

the cookie is always named after the site.

so for me (but I'm on win2k), the directory is C:\Documents and Settings\myusername\Cookies and then the cookie is "[email protected][2].txt"

yeah...i had several cookies w/IP address instead of site name and wasn't sure if one of them was the elite cookie.

i ended up logging in at another box and ftp-ing the cookie to my "regular" machine...
