What is the best martial art to take strictly too

we should all practice fighting more than one opponent.

life isnt always fair.

one method is to have teams pre chosen, then start a 1 on 1, then after a minute (or loss) 2 on 1, then a minute after that 2 on 2, 3 on 2....etc it can be caried so as to have 3 on 1, vary the sides to cover all possibilities. good eye opener for everyone involved.

try it if you feel you are street ready. you will be surprised, either way it goes.
post your findings.

Anything that trains as you would fight on the street.

forget the uniforms and barefoot crap.
train in the clothes you wear and the shoes you wear. taking up something along the lines of Krav Maga or CQC (close quater combat) is what you need.
why train for years trying to get the knock out punches, when a throat knifehand drops anyone? think smart, not hard.

doesnt look pretty, but you smash the opponent into a hospital bed, and being a winner doesnt involve tit for tat combos. fight first and dont stop till its done.

CQC all the way. i have trained Muay thai, kickboxing, kempo, and i found CQC took the lead. nothing wrong with the rest, but the elite military dont use boxing to kill, or kung-fu, they use the dirty tricks that win.

Makes sense. Any links to info on the CQC?

As for grappling I always wonderd in a street fight when exaclly do you release your opponent? When he's screaming? When he's ko?

try this..

http://closecombatschool.com/closecombatarticles.htm

it is from New Zealand, but the articles go into the whys, whats, hows etc of close combat. if you do it, you wont regret it. if you have the inner reality of "do unto others worse than they tried to do unto me" its perfect. not saying its god. anyone can be beaten, just it has alternatives to the methodology of the oriental practices. if Systema came to NZ i would try that too, and Krav Maga.

its easy to learn, but relies on you being able to be brutal to the point that you WILL hospitalise people, within 10 seconds (those well conditioned do it in 3).

the winning concept is to strike first and dont stop till its time for you to leave the scene.

as for the grappling.. i would never let a pissed off person i just hurt go free, as they will attack me. i would if the tables were turned, wouldnt you?

Never trust someone who doesnt respect your right to be left alone. they have no morals in the first place. reflect what you see. but be better at it.

that's good most people are wholely incapable of catching onto my jokes let alone continuing them
