The only problem with doing stuff like that is that it can *destroy* the PH of the pookie - don't want that as it can lead to problems. Actually - a woman's odor *down there* can vary widely - BUT it shouldn't stink and if it does she may have a low grade infection that she is unaware of......Douching is a good way to disrupt the PH of her pookie and may be what is causing the "smell."
**On an interesting side note, in having this discussion with guys before - they said that the way a girl's pookie smells can vary based on hair color. For example, the guys said brunettes have a stronger smell than blondes....

your side note is da boolsheet. vaginers aren't self-cleaning mechanisms. they sell douches for a reason. now, if you wanna get technical, blondes seem to be the dumbest of the flavors, which would lead to less douching, doncha think?? conclusion: blondes have stinkier vages.

What kind of problems? Infections and such? I need to get my gf to do something about it. Anyone seen that comercial for elexa by trojans for women? Comes with a condom, lube, and a "freshen up wipe".

GA - the vagina regularly has discharge - usually clear but can look like egg whites when ovulating. Shouldn't have a stinky smell and the vagina does have it's own PH level. Douching can disrupt the vagina's PH level which CAN lead to infections & the inability of the vagina to clean itself. A slight odor or smell is one thing and varies by woman but again, should not "stink." And the odor can become stronger when ovulating or during her period.
It's been found that it can help women to eat 1 yogurt daily to assist with "friendly bacteria" in her pookie. A bad smell comes about with infection or a disruption of the vagina's PH level - there is a certain amount of good bacteria necessary for vaginal health.
GA - I would suggest she see her GYN for a full checkup to rule out infection, STOP douching immediately if she is, add yogurt + cranberry juice to her daily food plan and YOU may need to get looked at too as men can carry infections in their penis without knowing it.....
