Yes, I too like disturbed, slipknot, Static-X, Linkin Park, Limp Bizket.....and all of the older rock. But have found it effective to mix like two hard songs and then something like slower like "home sweet home" from motely crue or even a classical score like brahms or bach. As you can get pumped to work out real hard for a few minutes and then relax for a few minutes while getting a drink of water so as to prepare you to hit it hard again. Another big plus is an MP3 player versus tape or CD. It's smaller and songs can be custom recorded so you don't have no long intro's like "down with the sickness(disturbed) or only 2 minutes of classical instead of a whole symphony.
