Home made apple crisp warm (made w/ splenda) w/ sugar free vanillia ice cream

Are those high protein noodles any good? Every time I have ever gotten anything that was high protein sort of snuck into the mix has not been very pleasing to me.

Yes the Burelli (sp) brand.. is yummy and about 17 g of protein....hubby is pre-diabetic and he can eat them with no problem

Sounds yummy......for lunch I resorted to a turkey sandwich with yucky mustard and wheat bread, oh and some doritoes light. Tasted better than that damn chicken I have been eating though. I have never been one of those to plan ahead for anything types. I was bummed to find out that lean cusine was not really good for me. oh well, still learning. Never had to worry about this before...it sucks!!

ksharp, most of the "wheat" bread in the grocery store is really just glorified white bread in that it is the same white flour used. You have to read the labels for the flour type. Usually, if the "wheat" bread is soft and squishy it isn't really the whole wheat and very healthful bread that you think it is.

That being said, I'm not nearly as uptight about diet as many of the peeps here and indulge in it some. =-)

oh yeah I know I have tried the real stuff, stone ground wheat or whatever....it is just horrible. I would have to put lots of mayo on it!! :p
So since I really don't have that much to lose to begin with I have to eat the other stuff. I just try to get the least of the evils.
Its not like I eat it everyday so when I do it shouldn't hurt to bad. Any and all changes I have made have to be better than the fast food crap I was eating. Hitting the big 30 is when weight seemed to be a factor. Since I am not a die hard dietier it just may take me a little longer to lose my goal of 10lbs. I am also joined the gym and I tell you, the 95.00 a month fee started out as my motivator but now I am addicted to it....and some of the eye candy there doesn't hurt either :p

lol...good for you! I don't have much eye candy at my gym.

I only paid $120 for a whole year at my gym. The gal liked me and pretended I was related to her to get me the "friends and family" add on rate.
