i hope everyone is nervous.... because even if Pakistan allows us to use there land and air space, they are arch rivals with India...and if you remember in the past year India and Pakistan now have low and mid range nuclear weapons capability..... if we start a campaign ( which i think we must do ) what happens if someone decides to launch one of those nuclear missles....doesn't matter where...just anywhere...think about what that could trigger..... so now how do we handle that??? And yeah India is out semi ally now ... but what happens if the relations with Pakistan improve with the US due to there cooperation.... what happens then..... India gets pissed with us....in any event the threat of a nuclear launch i don't think is inconceivable!!!
 
Does anyone know if they have the ability to launch a nuke from there to here? I doubt it. If there is a nuclear attack, I believe it will be against our European allies.

The whole point (hopefully) of having nukes is so that we DON'T have to use them, and to deter 'them' from using it on us..that's what the a lot of the cold war was...

And no..they don't have any that will reach America...but if our satellites as well as the Russians and Chinese see a nuclear missle launch.... it could be like a domino effect!!!!!

I believe it was wednesday night when a retired military official (don't no his name)was talking about the U.S. being hit with weapons of mass destruction in less then 5 years. I hope it was pure speculation but it does make one wonder what he may know! I hate to say it but it is in our (human) nature to destroy ourselves.
 
The whole point of nukes is the concept of "mutually assured destruction", which is a concept dating back to the Prussian wars. If somebody launches, they know full well the other side will retaliate in a similar fashion, thus launching in the first place would be stupid.

If one of those nations launched, I'm sure quite a few NATO nations would launch back, that country would be a smouldering crater.
 
hi guys im scared of nuclear missles also but in reality theres a bigger chance we will be hit with chemical weapons , but one thing they dont realize is that its not just us we have,britan,israel,germany,pakistan,japan now us and britan and israel are not ruthless countires but the otif hers are so they do somethign stupid like use a weapon of mass destruction we will eraticate them also every1 is talkign about there weapons this there weapons that what do u guys think we have rocks if we decide to go ruthless we can infect them with diseases they never even heard of and also i heard from sources israel was just bombed by palastenions and the prime minster said we will start destroying now. so i understand these pp lr crazy and dangerous but so are we

Have you ever seen the worldwide scenarios of a nuclear attack? Chances are good such a launch from almost any country would result in a chain reaction in response. The likes of which we cannot imagine. It could result in the destruction almost all life on earth.

Country A launches against Country B, Country B launches against Country A & their ally Country C, Country C launches against Country B's ally, Country D...then nukes are flying all over until the chain reaction gets to the Big Boys (USA, Russia, China...) and the end of the world is in sight.

Wars, especially against countries like Afghanistan, can be easily won without any need for nukes assuming they do not have such capability themselves. IMO, all nukes should be destoryed and the USA would still be the supreme military power.
 
Well the Soviet Union didnt exactly have much success in Afghanistan, neither the British SAS

A ground war is definately not the answer
 
all your mutual destruction stuff only works if the enemy has nukes. even if they have nukes they dont have long range missiles so they cant get them to us. its not an equal playing field. its not like if we nuke the crap out of them they can just nuke us back, they cant. so i say nuke the shit out of them so we can lessen the risk to our soldiers!!!
 
If you can build it, it will be built. The problem is that in some countries we are seen as the devil. Almost every country has a plan in the case an all out nuclear attack. The truth is if there were a dooms day attack on all walks of life. The U.S. has the capability to live on and control all of earth. I'm sure Russia also has something huge hidden in there mountains. There are some governments that think with a complete extremination of all walks of life in the outside sector will bring human life to another level. Imagine starting over with only a few million people. All being scientist--doctors--teachers--and one religion. The kids being born by these people would be taught there way. With no outside influence. Its not all that far fetched!
 
Jackoffer, I mean Masturbator - the scenario I mentioned does NOT require this other country to possess long-range nuclear capability. If we launched against them, it would be seen by every country on earth. That in and of itself could cause a reaction from a country other than that targeted. In response to an attack on, let's say for example, Afghanistan who may possess short-range nukes (or at least Bin Laden likely may) could launch against a European or other Middle Eastern country. That could trigger the scenario I mentioned and cause a worldwide chain reaction.

A targeted country does not have to possess the ability to hit us back...there are others they can point their nukes at. I guarantee you, if they see 'em coming at them, they're gonna launch theirs at someone before they die.

A nuke doesnt need to be huge to do damage. Think about, say, a handful of smaller nukes inside briefcases positioned strategically around the country. Bush presses the button, Bin Laden or some other psycho makes a phone call, and you wont be trading Pokemon cards with your grade 7 buddies tomorrow.

You think the US is invincible, it isn't. Every major super power in history EVER, has eventually fallen usually due to complacency and feelings of invincibility.

Now go back and study your algebra and history so that maybe one day you can contribute to society instead of being a complete retard.
