when i started dragging the sled, doing farmers walks or pushing a car, my lifts went up considerably, my recovery was fast too! I actually had some endurance.

The Sled is fantastic. Switching from BB to PL after 7 yrs involved big changes. One was the enjoyment of less cardio - but the Sled pulling took the place of it in many instances. It is dually useful in providing both stamina and increased strength. The best of both worlds!
BTW - Great Post Curgeo!!! I knew about all the mental torture I went through feeling my body change after switching over to PL. The greatest part has been the extensive amount of education and the great feeling of a PR, or a lift you 'made'. So much more mentally satisfying than someone's objective opinion about how you looked in comparison to someone else. Thanks!!!
Excellent post man and for me the two most important training factors have been:
1. Training with someone stronger (Big fish in small ponds only grow so big)
2. Speed is King (took along time to get over the instinct to "feel" the weight instead of just pushing it)
I have found many of the same things after switching to PL.
I really notice the outcast part as the gym I go to is a hardcore bodybuilding gym. They all think I am crazy when I make statements like "I don't know what my bodyfat is and I don't care" or "I lift to be strong not to look good"
