what I bought yesterday

Did you feel something his you in the back of your head when you walked out the store?

It was your change.

wow I didn't realize I wasn't the only guy here that didn't pay $200 for a pair of jeans

I have a couple pair of jeans that cost me a gang of change but the most comfortable ones I own are the ones I bought for 50 bucks

back in my college days I was so fucking broke I couldn't afford beers or foods and when I bought ramen noodles it overdrafted my account and I had to pay a $30 fee.. so one package of noodles cost me 31 dollars.. fuck!

ololololololololololololol

I would NEVER pay 200$ for a pair of jeans. What does that shit do? Make you cum the whole time you're wearin' em?

Luckily I am pretty small and hep (even though I have the body I won't wear a lot of teen stuff) and can still shop in teen-stores. Heck, my favorite store to shop in is Plato's Closet which is a chain of higher end teen resale stuff. :)

I honestly don't see the diff between the jeans that Stringbean bought and the 200$ jeans that other board members have posted up. What is the point? THEY ARE FREAKING MEN'S JEANS... at least some of the ladies' jeans are bejweled or some shit. Still wouldn't drop that kinda money on 'em though.

I guess I am too cheap and too old. :lmao: ..... but my ass is still 22! ;)

I feel ya on that one. Ever go to DSW for shoes? My husband near passed out when he saw his fav shoes for a fraction of what he was used to paying. I was like, "Hey, what can I say? I spent most of my life REAL POOR. Now I just hate to part w/my money unless it is necessary. :) "

I do, however, have "a thing" about wearing designer labels. HATE THAT SHIT. My take is: why should I PAY to advertise for any designer for free? I mean, who the heck am I trying to impress? LOL

I do have two very nice pair of jeans that would have been pricey had I paid full price. I get complimented on them all the time as they are so peculiar. But I would NEVER have paid 200$ for them. One pair I paid 30$ (at the resale shop, still had original tags on them so were never even worn) the other pair were a gift. Here's one pair. The embroidery on the backside is very cool, that's why I got them. Other than that... they are "just jeans". :whatever:

No offense to SB's jeans, but the difference is simple...

If I am wearing some TR's out or some WB's girls are gonna notice and even use that as an opener to approach... "Are those True Relgions? I love those, I have a pair just like them...blah fuck blah god I want ur cock."

I fail to see that happening with AE jeans. Although... BeanBean undoubtley lays more pipe than me.... I seem to want the disgusting chics that would use silly openings like that.

Why would you want women who would even notice such a thing?

LOL I really like them. They just look like "plain old jeans", when you turn around it's like a nice subtle little - HELLO! You have to look two or three times before you see the Goddess' bewbies... :lmao:

The other pair are way more flashy... will have to take a pic of them next time I wear them.

Personal choice.

For one I love well dressed girls, girls who appreciate fashion.

Go back and reread what you wrote. You didn't seem to think too highly of those women.

You can love a girl who appreciates fashion, but is about *style* more than she is about bling. Bling is about money. Style is about so much more.

... just sayin is all.

I will now STFU.

Man, I've never owned a piece of AE or Gap clothing in my life, lol. Are they really that popular? What's the purpose of wearing a shirt that says, "Seventy Seven"?

You know you can get a pair of leather pants for $200 instead of a trendy pair of pre-used denim, right? Man... I can see shelling the money out for a custom fit or something, but when it's just because it's trendy or popular... what's the old word for that... poser?

Ah. So wearing leather pants isn't 'posing'? Trying to fit into a specific idea of fashion.

Ninja. Please.

No man in his right mind would walk around in leather pants unless he had a specific purpose in mind like riding a motorcycle or some shit.

Wander around outside for hours on end much in freezing Wisconsin winters? Leather was around way before denim, broly.

There's still the functionality that's lacking in overpriced denim.

you kiddin me i LOVE dsw, its like a candy store lol....I dont like the once with the labels on them- think its tacky...i hate paying full price for the name brand alone* but you have to admit they have the best fabric...bought a dress from H&M a while back I thought it looked really cute at the store but when i tried it on again at home it was more like what the hell was i thinking...their clothes look cute but after washing them once you cant wear them again, real cheap fabric...my point is- I think its worth spending that extra $$, not only it looks much better but it will also last.
I like those jeans you have on, like the embroidery on the side...

Thanks, that why I got them (in addition to the fit and for 30$ it was worth it). :)

Agreed... about paying a few extra dollars for quality. I have long been a fan of the clearance rack at better brand stores, especially when it comes to kid's clothing. Not only is the quality better but if you have to take them back for WHATEVER *defect* they will take it back, no questions asked.

Whodathunk that OldNavy is made by the same peeps that make GAP and Banana Republic? LOL

Quality + acceptable price = excellent value.

EVERYTHING goes on sale. If it don't then I am just not interested. :)

I don't think we ever did a shoot in them. I ended up selling them to a friend because I grew out of them pretty quick. They're a bitch to get to fit the legs of anyone who lifts.

*looks* I can't find any of my friend wearing them on stage, either. He has a wierd thing for shiny pleather, which always disturbed me.

Considering I'm in a dorm room and not wandering around in the woods, that's probably why I don't own a pair. Probably also why I can't find a picture of my friend wearing them inside on a hot stage.

how are there 34 posts about pants, just curious

It's a fitness board of guys that care way too much about the way they look.

Actually, this thread will probably hit 4-5 pages.
