Looks like I really stepped into it this time. I have a thing for trying to conquer my fears. First it was heights so I took up skydiving. Then it was deep waters so I took up Scuba. Well I have always been afraid to be knocked out. Not so much as getting into an altercation but actually being knocked out. I have recently started taking a street fighting class. I'm new to it still and am going to a seminar in San Francisco this weekend. All the schools in the state that practice Kajukenbo are going to be present. I just found out from my instructor that he has put me down to be the practice dummy in the "One punch knockout" part of the seminar. This is where a Grandmaster demonstrates on how to knock you out while still on your feet my hitting different areas of your bodies meridian in rapid sucssesion which makes your bodies signals cross eachother and cancel eachother out. In other words I'm gonna "Drop Cold on my Feet" I'm kind of scared and excited at the same time. I just hope it doesn't totally screw my body up. I guess being a big guy does have its drawbacks because I look like I would be an impressive person to knock out. Wish me luck and I will let you all know how it goes when I get back this next week.
