Is it Golds/Urban Active, Powerhouse, World Gym, a Local ID Gym,

College Rec Center, or Other. Discuss.

Personally after high school i had a HORRIBLE experience with

World Gym. after that i shortly moved into a local independant gym

that eventually turned into a powerhouse. now i work out at the

college rec center, but am planning to get a membership to the

powerhouse by my college.

When I'm at school I go to the student center to work out but it really is not a good atmosphere for putting in serious work. At home I go to the city's rec center but I think that I'll be trying out a Gold's Gym pretty soon.

local little shit gym...it's actually in a hotel a few blocks up from the condo. don't really like it but it's close and cheap. its really clichy and the people are all really fuckin weird. i keep to myself

the gym i worked out in when i lived in the financial district last year was fuckin awesome. it was more a yuppee/trendy gym but the owner and staff were really nice and i became good friends with them. Also had the florida marlin and miami heat cheerleaders work out there (all of them basically). That was the only gym i've EVER worked out at where the people weren't such fuckin weirdos and were friendly and normal. i met some cool people there. normally i never associate with anyone from the gym because of all the weirdos

fuck..lol. i miss it, but 15-20 minute commute + trying to find parking in the heart of the financial district is too much of a bitch when you don't live there

A good local gym called GB-3 after the owner George Brown. You know the gym is doing ok when the owner last week bought a new Rolls Royce... BTW he has a MB SL-Mclaren, MB C-600 AMG, and an older Rolls. Nice guy too.

at the Y or a personally owned place in town. usually the Y. they just built a brand new weight room with all new equipment so it is actually nice now. the weight room use to be a rat hole in the basement.

Used to be a independent place but it closed. I go to golds now. It's expensive but i like the travel pass thing which is very useful since im in school and when ever i go back home or travel somewhere i can workout out any golds free.
