What does it mean.. when chicks do this:

Say I'm standing around a few girls (like 3-4) and there is one other guy in the room with me. The whole time these girls are obsessed with this guy, and really interracting with him, but they are blowing me off. (say the setting is a college dorm room)

does it mean that the chicks dont like me, and are trying to find a way to ignore me, so they focus their attention on him?

or does it mean that the chicks are really engrossed in this one guy?

or does it mean both? or something else?

I think it's a little of both, they don't like you and like the other dude. I think you need to lower the quality a bit to have better success...

They may be comfortable around you and consider you part of their group. In of which they will not notice their otherwise rude action. Otherwise they just really like the other guy and have categorized you as unimportant.

I think he meant up the weight of the honies you are scheming on...lower the standards just so you gain some confidence. It seems like you are new to the game, their is a lot to learn...practice with the hefty momma, marry the hot momma...

Well for one thing, you are vain..you would choose a hot woman over a woman who could possibly be the woman of ur dreams...you need to lower your standards buddy.

Go into more detail...what exactly where you doing there at this grouping...in complete context, how exactly did the "scenario" go...did you have a thing for one of these girls?, etc., etc., etc....Make a movie/story of exactly what happened... From what I've read so far, it was most likely your behavior that tuned you out...not their's. So let's hear it!

Anyway, it sounds like you want to get laid, so my best advice would be to just dive right in. Spit some game and see where it takes you. When you get shot down (which will happen a lot), say fuck it and more on to the next girl in the bar. You gotta learn somehow. :)

If you're looking for a "relationship" girl, then don't get caught up in the looks game. Most younger girls are attractive anyway, so just don't get all worked up over the 1-10 scale. Find one who isn't crazy/insecure/manipulative/etc, then you're good to go.
 
have to check out the scene before giving a meaningful answer. the girls might be a bit stuck up, or you might have made an ass of yourself previously, or you might be exaggerating.

you cant go wrong just relaxing and having a good time, and involving those around you in convo/jokes

For most guys I know the woman of their dreams IS a hot woman. Or at least one of the qualitys.

I always say that if you love someone, then they can be attractive to you, even if they aren't hot and tempting by the rest of society's standards.

I've discovered something with any relationship I've been involved in or guy that I have liked. I had talked with them or been friends with them before we ever developed anything. There hasn't really been a single guy that I liked before I had actually gotten to know them. Hell, there's been one or two that I talked to before I ever even met them. I guess for me, there has to be something underlying the looks for me to be interested.
 
They`re both cheating on you. Lay off them for a couple of days and I`ll see what I can do.

Reminds me of myself when I was in school. I would pass this girl in the hall and she NEVER talked to me. Then one day I said something to her and... guess what? She did`nt talk to me.

I had a guy try #2 and #3 with me once. They didn't work. They are nothing more than games, and games won't get you anywhere with a woman that is actually worth having. For any man that would try those, I say grow up.

#1 is very true. Confidence can be extremely sexy in a man, but know where that line between confidence and arrogance is. Cross and it stops being sexy. It just becomes annoying. When a man is nothing more than an ego that walks and talks, I move on.
 
:D I thought that some of the ladies here would jump at JavaGuru's post saying that stuff only works with girls or women not worth having. It works with the vast majority of women, I'm certain.

- This is very very true...not just with women though, people want what they can't have. Seen it a million times with women, you act too eager, they'll blow you off.

- All people, women get jealous. Women love attention, if they know theres other women after you they'll wanna snap you up quick.

These aren't just games, they're facts of life. Again, sad but very true.
 
I'd say #2 and #3 work amizingly well. Anger and jealousy are prime female motivators.

#1 is good if you're not into games and bullshit. Remember, you can dish it out but so can they.
 
#2 and #3 work if it's a young girl who hasn't really matured emotionally yet. If that's what you are interested in, have at it. It won't last. How you conduct yourself with women says a lot about the kind of relationship you are looking for.

I'll admit that a lot haven't. Sometimes it just takes one hell of a relationship for a woman to mature and realize what she wants. Maturity wise, I'm still working on it I guess, but I don't think it's something you ever stop doing.

...in no particular order (because they all enhance one another)...BUT, don't think of these as a particular technique you have to act out...acting out technique's are worthless and make you look stupid! Instead, think of these as an "attitude" and develope it in yourself...and it will be natural...

...Observe men/friend's, that are successful with women and notice how they portray the 4 trait's above, in their attitude... Watch comedy/late-night-show's/etc. on TV and start to develop sence of humor and different way's of looking at thing's in a humorous way... observe these same...or different people, that give off an aura of "charisma" and again, like everything else, notice their attitude...and internalize and "customize" it all, to you.

I'm sorry but I found this kinda funny. Here's a scenario. You're at a bar and you see two guys talking to each other and looking your way. One is extremely hot and the other isn't. You know nothing about these two guys except for what they look like. Which would you like more the good looking guy or the not good looking guy coming up to you? Remeber the only thing you know about these guys is how good looking they are or are not. Don't give this kid shit for doing something that every single person does/has done/or will do.
