chicken etouffee????? no hun...never heard of it...crawfish or shrimp etouffee, hell yeah!!!

Cheat day?

I eat what I want when I want.... I am SO GLAD the days of competing/fitness modeling am over. ;)

I am not like some big fat ass but I am getting older (35) and I don't have the same hard body I use to when I ran track/cross country. I want to be hard agian!! My son is in football and loves going to the gym and I have gotten to love going with him. He pushes me to do more everytime. I am not on a real strict diet, just trying to make better choices.

someone said chips... good god they are my weakness. I am like a stoned high school kid when it comes to chips, I love a good set of chips and salsa, or some tim's cascade style pot. chips mmm.

I understand what you are saying completely. I am pushing 40 and am mother to four young girls.

The reason you are not as hard as when you were younger is not because you are no longer running. It is because you have less mass now than you did then. The only way to get hard again is to build your mass.

And good for you eating healthier!

we are chip whores.

Me... I have a sweettooth. But it is quickly satisfied as I get nauseous before I can do too much damage.

I can only drink a few drinks then I feel sick.

I cant eat alot of anything.... cause then I feel sick. LOL

Its funny to me because when my son approached me on joining I thought to myself...I will only go for a month or so and give up and waste $. BUT, it has become my new addiction. I hate when I can't go ;) I am loving it!!

And power to you on your 4 girls...you have a handful in that alone! lol
Girls can be tough...I remember how I was lol

I love the stuff....what is really sad is that as good as I can cook, I have never mastered the art of jambalaya. Not just anyone can make a real jambalaya....not that oak grove crap. :p

Before Katrina I traveled LA extensively (up to Central La, near Alexandria) Spent a lot of time in Port Allen. But in the last year I've become a desk jockey. :worried:

I graduated from LSU many years ago, but didn't venture off campus much. My only cajun dinning experience in BR was Mike Anderson's.

oh man....Mike Anderson's sucks!! Well, if you ever plan on coming back, pm me and I'll make some suggestions. Drusilla's would be at the top of the list.

and there is NOTHING in Port Allen. Did you work in some of the plants? That is all I can picture there. The whole town stinks from them

You live in NO right? There are sooo many awesome places to dine but one of my favs has to be Margarittaville (sp?) I love the atmosphere there. Last time I went they gave me a locals card which I thought was pretty fuckin cool. I get like 25% off

I try and get a room at least once a year on Bourbon to spend the weekend. A great get away considering it only takes us 45-1hr to get there depending on traffic. I FREAKING LOVE HANGING OUT IN NEW ORLEANS!!!
;)

Next time you're headed this way, make sure you let me know. We can meet up. Maybe get Frisky and her man to come too

thats what I am saying. Normal people here have 6 days shit meals 1 day good meal. I think I am opposite! lol

I am lucky enough to be able to eat what I want to and not be as big as a house. I do eat healthly, don't get me wrong there...but when I am in the mood for pizza or a good juicy burger, I eat it.
