what does a MODERATOR do???

They post questions with asterisks around them.

They can delete/edit/move posts. Can also recommend that somebody be banned.....although the decision isnt theirs.
They dont get paid.....they do it either because they like to give back to the site as well as take from it....or because they have a thing for power

how do you become a moderaotor, is it just how much u post, dont insult my intelligence and say it goes by how knowledgeable you are.....

It is a balance of how much you know, your attitude towards others, and how much time you spend on the board. The ELITE mods watch you for a while, and then they pick you. That, or by recommendation by another mod.

A moderator gets to live out the repressed frustration of their inferiority complex due to their appauling social standing in their lives on this board, by acting in a role that gives them some form of imaginary power over imaginary others - which allows them to believe that their lives do have some, however insignificant, purpose.

bros it seems YOU are the ones thinking we find ourselves superior. By all means, I don't find myself superior - many bros are much more knowledgeable than me. While I do know quite a bit, I am not even 5% of what some of the vets and gurus like Mr X, MS, Mustang , etc.
You, hardgainer, have those feelings because I bet my ass that's how you would feel like. Moderator of a fucking internet chat board? bwahahaha that's significant....it should go on my college applications. I am in no way superior, I just like to help because bodybuilding is my life. Just because cozmo thinks being a mod makes him better than his neighbor does not mean I share his opinion.
Big brick thinks it's funny - to an extent, it is. Some people obviously weren't the right choice. But what are all these posts ranting about moderator pics? It's just 9 letters under a bunch of stars. It's nothing more!

Blood, the mention of the power thing in my post was strictly tongue in cheek......just joking around. As were most posts in this thread.....dont take it so personally.
Unless you deleted some posts I dont understand some of what you say. What posts about mods pics??
For what its worth, I think the good mods by far outweigh the bad and the bad ones seem to be behaving themselves lately.

Well at the end of the day no matter what selection was made I'm sure almost everybody could find one mod they dont like. Its just that alot of people chose to feed off each others dislikes leading to a bunch of pointless posts that changed absolutely nothing. There were even posts against experienced elite mods.....I really think that alot of people just made comments to be part of a group or because they just like stirring up trouble.
But hopefully the worst of it is behind us.......
