think about this?
Awhile back a guy here in town shot & killed his wife & a cop responding to a domestic dispute. The call was made to 911 by his mother who lived across the street from her son. Some how the dispute between her son and his wife wound up at his mothers house (again, across the street). She (the mother) had a pistol in the house and her son had grabbed and had just shot his wife as the cop arrived, he then shot the cop as he walked up the sidewalk to the mothers house. The caught him the same day charged him etc. etc. Court date pending. Here is the thing, yesterday they charged his 70 yo mother with involuntary man slaughter. Why? Because she knew the gun was in the house... and could have prevented this from happening.
I call bullshit on this one people. A 70 yo women... foreseeing the future of an enraged 30 yo male grabbing her gun and killing his wife and a cop??? NO She called 911 in an attempt to get the dispute stopped. How could she have foreseen him doing what he did? She couldnt have stopped him even if shed tried... or he wouldve killed her too. What mother would ever think that her son would even do something like that???
Id like to hear what your thoughts are on this.
