I seriously cant stand oatmeal, I mean Ive tried to eat it before b/c its a good source of soluble fiber and there is lots of evidence that lowers cholesterol for healthy heart eating. But it just does nothing for me, I mean Id rather not eat anything at all rather than choke that down.
Ive never actually sat down I think with someone eating oatmeal either. I hear people talking about eating it, just never see it, I see it in the cafetarias for breakfast but it just sits there
I love cereal with milk. I just dont have time to eat it in the morning before work. I do eat cereal alot when I get home after work though.
I used to have a cereal addiction (rice chex with skim). I know that sounds bizarre and made-up, but it's true. All I craved all day and night was cereal. Id wake up at 1am and eat cereal. Id eat it for all 3 meals and snacks sometimes up to 6 bowls a day or more. Not uncommon to go through an entire box in a day's time.
My sister has had this problem more recently and her nutritionist told her that it is an actual addiction (something to do with the carbs, sugars, etc).
lol and I was at my leanest (15% bf) when all I ate was rice chex and salad and I was sportin a pretty fancy six pack as well. with almost zero protein intake LOL
