What do you think about Barry Bonds after the latest steroid allegations?

1 His final 4 MVPs, career statistics should be removed from record books

2 He should quit baseball, but record books shouldn't be touched

3 He should keep playing, but only with substantial drug testing

4 What's the big deal? These are all just reported allegations

How about a 5th choice? Everyone with half a clue in life already knew. Either you care about the records being "tainted" or you don't. But either way this is old news and it is time to move on!

I could care less if athletes use or not,the public need's to pull thier head's out of thier asses.

if you want to dump Bonds records - then how far back do we go

Prove to me that a bunch of those 400+ bench pressing sluggers of the 60's and 70's weren't passing DBol arounf like it was nothing.

You can't just pick off certain players.

Bonds is a hero. When he breaks the HR record it will be a giant shit sandwich for the media and all the haters.

a bunch of guys i am good friends with play professional sports down here in miami... if anyone thinks that pro athletes DONT take some kind of enhancement for performance they are kidding themselves... they know how to get it, they know how to take it, they know how to get away with it..

that being said, gear alone doesnt make anyone an outstanding athlete... u can juice as much as you want, but you still need that underlying talent issue.., i mean these guys were awesome before gear, now they are just a little better....

my gut feeling still wants bonds' records taken out.. i tend to believe the guys before him who set the records didnt touch the sauce... they set the records naturally, they should hold the records...

Sosa, Mac??????????????????

You MUST be joking

HAhhahahaahhaahahahaha

Records mean nothing. Records only show how someone competed against his peers. In Bonds case, he was the best among the juiced period. His records are valid. You can't selectively erase records...that is sheer stupidity.

Man to be honest I feel sorry for him.

When I played college football, I was AMAZED at how many guys were on gear. It got to the point where even though I was honestly a very good athlete who was intelligent on the field... I couldnt compete physically with all of them. The juice gave them that extra edge that made them run .6 faster than me in the 40... made them bench 40 more pounds than me... made them have a 4 more inch verticle jump.

Thats what actually lead me to do my first cycle, because almost all of the key players on the team were juicing and getting away with it. I figured I was cheatin myself by not trying to put myself on an equal playing field with the rest of them.

That being said. With my experience in college and knowing how many guys use illegal substances regularly. I can only imagine what professional athletes use. As posted above, they know what to get and how to get it and how to get away with it. Bonds just didnt get away with it, and most likely because he was such a high profiled athlete within the baseball community. He was ANNIHILATING baseballs. Just like Sosa and McGuire were.

So in essence, to sum up my rather long post. I just feel sorry for him because he was so good and got caught, when there is a significant majority of athletes which do extremely similar things.

And on a side note... the misconceptions and just blatently inaccurate facts in the Barry Bonds story makes me sick. The media has planted in societies mind that steroids are the equivalent of heroine... Im out. :worried:

WHO CARES??? I know it shocks the average joe, but at the elite athlete level, whether its baseball, football, the Olympics, etc. juice is a part of life and its nobody's friggin business except the athletes taking them. You wanna be the famous athlete making millions? Well you better have a shitload of talent to start with, and be willing to make sacrifices to develop that talent to it's fullest. That means a life revolving around your diet, working out, practicing, etc...oh yeah, and properly juicing
