What do you guys/gals think?

I am currently on a cutting diet. Nothing drastic, about 75-100 carbs/day with 300+ protein and about 100g of fat. My workouts are pretty rigorous and I want to be certain to replenish my glycogen post workout. I was thinking about taking about 30g of dextrose along with 5-10g of creatine mixed w/ water with me to drink during my workout. I also drink a shake post-workout which has 45g of maltodextrin and 50 g of protein along w/ some glutamine. How does this strategy sound? Any provisions?

I like it...what are your stats....

When keeping the fat so high, you'll want to wach how many cabs you're taking in.

Carbs during a workout will be used for energy and not go to glycogen replenishment. They may spare muscle and/or give greater workout energy, though. I read this in Muscle and Fitness.

I appreciate the help guys. I use the dextrose during the workout for greater energy and as a transport for the creatine. The maltodextrin is my replenishment for the most part.

My stats are 5'9" and I am down to 192lbs w/ about 10-12% bf. Don't really know all my measurements. Nothing spectacular but 2 months ago I was weighing 205lbs and I felt fat. My diet has gone well. I've lost 13 lbs while retaining if not gaining strength. Thanks again for the help.
