I used to drive a Honda Acord till last month when I sold it and got myself a '92 black Jag..Indeed it purs like a cat!
 
I am president of the Lotus club here in NC..

Mods to my car include....


Moto-concept blow off valves.
Stebro racing stainless exhaust.(flames shoot out at high rpm)

remapped ecm

Oz racing wheels

Dvd player/Cd 12 inch diamond audio sub


So far thats it

I USED TO HAVE A XCAB 4WD LARIAT, MUSTANG 5.0, AND CBR. I SOLD THE TRUCK AND THE BIKE CUZ I QUIT MY JOB. ALL WERE PAID FOR BUT I WAS PAYING OVER 500$/MO INSURANCE ON ALL THREE. WHEN I GRADUATE, I'M EITHER GETTING A TAHOE, BMW, OR LEXUS. DONT KNOW WHICH YET.

to many miles, and I could honestly take alot better care of it these days.

hope your cat is more reliable than the xj6 i had was.............it was a great reason for keeping around a reliable american or oriental car!


i have an all american driveway now................mercury grand marquis, v8 powered chev s10, '66 mustang in the garage.

I drive a 1992 Toyota Landcruiser and I will drive that "baby" until it falls apart. :D I love my hubby's Expedition, though..anything is better than a minivan. Oh..and he comes from a family who has Studebakers and I love his 1954 sedan. I like older men and older cars, I guess. ;)

Lexus GS300 and a Saturn SC2. The Saturn is given away at Christmas time.

Took delivery on a Range Rover then decided I didn't want it and gave it back.

Currently driving a '94 Plymouth Laser (basically an Eagle Talon). Thinking about switching to an early 90's BMW 850 in a year or so, and a year after that an older Ferrari for a Sunday driver.

Reading that list of shit was awesome - he does have that font body kit though. I hear those are cool. another year or two and that thing is gonna have a rear body kit too. Then it is all style.

I'm always baffled as to how those people can pop up out of bed in the morning, walk out to the car, and just smile big and say "OH HELL YES BABY! THIS SHIT IS ALL MINE!"

That car looks like it was created by someone that misunderstands aerodynamics.
Like "planes sure go fast, and they have shit sticking out of them at weird angles... also, I like bumpy things."

You would have to pay me a lot just to drive the thing, let alone take ownership of that crap.

Well, I :cough: bulshit :coughed: because in your post, it looked as if you were claiming to run 8's in the QUARTER, usually people specify when they're talking about the 1/8th.... 8's in the 8th is certianly believable for this car. And I DO know, so therefore, I can talk. And BTW, I didn't check your gender, that's why I said "bro"... I never asked you to PROVE anything.... except now I will... I'm a newbie at dragracing but I have to prove myself sometimes because I'm female and blonde and don't want others to think I'm an airhead.

I'm very proud of my car and get compliments of it all the time.

I don't know how to prove I'm female other than just saying so. I favor Monica Brant a lot (what friends tell me) so that will give you an idea. I have straight blonde hair not curly as she sometimes wears hers. I'm also 5'3". :)

Hey PatsFan34! No trouble at all. I just like to speak up and say when people think I'm male and correct them - esp. when it comes to cars. Seems like guys think it's cool when girls are into cars. (I've noticed that at the dragstrip.)

I have minor responsibilities - checking tire pressure, packing the parachute, adding fuel, warming up the nitrous bottle - shining up the car - all of this is on the hubby's car, of course.

55 chevy bel air? cool! :)

69 z28? Are you sure. I thought that they didn't start making z28's till the late 70's. I'm not being a dick, I'm just inquiring!!!

Someone in my family had a 1980 z28 with 350 from a corvette in it. Had an M-22 4 speed and a dana 60 rear. That shit was dope!!! Didn't lose to many races, nobody had a clue. Everyone thought it was stock, boy were they surprised when they got smoked off the line!!!
