What do you do to pump up before taking your shirt off....

if you are going out to the pool, or just going to be around someone and you want them to see you PUMPED.... what do you do, how do you do it?




I've heard push-ups is a really good exercise for this, but is there something better...
 
True... take in some high gi carbs and do a few pushups. That should do it.

I actually don't worry about it. I have a belly and I am bigger than most.

Anyone who wants to be with me (or anyone I'd want to notice me anyway) is eventually going to see me without a pump...so why have one then?

I'm with B-fold again on this, I too have a belly and don't give a rats ass what people think, they are smaller than me so who cares lol, and if they are bigger then I probably train with them.
 
If your going to the pool why not swim? Swimming always gives me a nice all around pump. After some breast and backstrokes i look lean and mean.
 
I knew Bigguns is a woman, but I am not too swift, and it just clicked when I read the whole thread, very funny shit.....I just spent 2 weeks at the beach, and I don't want this to come out the wrong way, but there were a lot of people, mostly kids who would do pushups, sit-ups, oil themselves up, etc....I personally did nothing to pump up, and I even had a slight belly and when they walked by me they looked like anorexic midgets, so I stood out anyway.

BUT if looking pumped for a half hour or so floats your boat, do some circuit training and drink Gatorade when you're done.
 
make sure you get good and warmed up too....last time I was at the beach, some chicks were walking by, and I went to hit them with a quick double-bi pose and almost tore my rotator cuff......

i dont take my shirt off in public. no one wants to see it anyways. but i do think its funny when some scronny ass people think they are ripped so they walk around with their shirts off. i just laugh at them.
 
First, I start using rest pause techniques and static holds and such ONLY after I've determined I can recouperate from straight sets of push-ups with this frequency.

Then, I use a controlled but explosive positive push-up, and A 6-8 SECOND NEGATIVE push-up.

I follow all that up with extreme chest stretching. This is in another post. :D
 
Can someone give me a posing routine I could do on the beach? It does`nt have to be to music, just some arm shots and stuff for the ladies. Also how do I get rid of 35% fat? By the end of the month. please hurry. thanks

Me too. Right now I do 1 set of 10 on the circuit for upperbody... I dont do legs because after using the Nautilus I do 30 min on the treadmill!!! All I drink is Slim Fast and all i eat is salad!!! Before you know it, i'll look like Arnold. I'm one healthy man!

I like to go out to dinner, and then accidently spill something on my shirt. Then I curse and take my shirt off and throw it away. It's just a cheap ploy to take my shirt off. Then I usually flex my bi's as I reach for my drink, and end every bite with a double bicep pose.
 
I find hitting the gym hard for 6 - 8 months beforehand works wonders, perhaps a little dieting in there too if I really want to go all out...

i dont do shit unless i wrk out b4 i gfo i usually do so i dont tire my self out b4 i wrk out other than that i dont do shit

Be careful, if you do the DC* warm up you will put 40 lbs on while at the beach, and when you go to put your shirt back on its not going to fit!!! ;)

:lmao: DC Push-Up Training at it's finest. My post was inspired by the silly arguments on the other thread. I'm surprised no one caught on a little quicker. Good job FatRat. I must spread my Karma around before I can distribute more.
