I have always believed this, I have been "christian" Pentacostal, Methodist, Baptist it is all the same pure bullshit.
I finally realized that the god I was raised on was dead the day I lost Kim to my stupidity. Let me rephrase that. He/she never really existed.
If one was to read the bible. I mean really read it, they would find that the "true and loving" god would never do most of the crap written there.
For example, the story of Job, now that boy was the all perfect subject, and god allowed ye 'ol satan to whoop his ass a thousand different ways just to prove to him that he would never profane god. He let his wife, family be killed and diseased, he allowed Job to be afflicted with disease and allowed all of his hard work to be destroyed.
Now I personally find that pure bullshit that any true god would allow his "child" to be punished like that just to prove a point. You find this situation throughout the bible.
I came to realize that what I believed and was not in the bible nor any written word. It is a belief that is inside that we are part of a greater whole that permeates the whole of existence, yet is no singel being. We have eternal "spirits" or energy if you will, that actually animate our shells. Each energy packet so to speak is unique in its make up, just as each of us are physically unique.
Well, that is the gist of it. I also, believe in "reincarnation"
