What do you do to get you through stressful times?

I have always believed this, I have been "christian" Pentacostal, Methodist, Baptist it is all the same pure bullshit.

I finally realized that the god I was raised on was dead the day I lost Kim to my stupidity. Let me rephrase that. He/she never really existed.

If one was to read the bible. I mean really read it, they would find that the "true and loving" god would never do most of the crap written there.

For example, the story of Job, now that boy was the all perfect subject, and god allowed ye 'ol satan to whoop his ass a thousand different ways just to prove to him that he would never profane god. He let his wife, family be killed and diseased, he allowed Job to be afflicted with disease and allowed all of his hard work to be destroyed.

Now I personally find that pure bullshit that any true god would allow his "child" to be punished like that just to prove a point. You find this situation throughout the bible.

I came to realize that what I believed and was not in the bible nor any written word. It is a belief that is inside that we are part of a greater whole that permeates the whole of existence, yet is no singel being. We have eternal "spirits" or energy if you will, that actually animate our shells. Each energy packet so to speak is unique in its make up, just as each of us are physically unique.

Well, that is the gist of it. I also, believe in "reincarnation"

I like to consider myself a strategic thinker. I view life as if it were war. I draw up a plan of attack for accomplishing an objective. This plan will include several back up plans that I refer to as "fail safes" that are designed to address whatever obstacle is likely to thrown in my path. I anticipate problems. I believe in hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I have fully mapped out plans for everything. From things as simple as a car break down, to something as financially challenging as the loss of a job, to as personally disruptive as my wife leaving me. You must never allow yourself to be taken out of the fight. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Remember, no matter what, have a plan to fall back on, or a strategy to address everything.

I just keep the thought of "tough times never last, but tough people do" in my mind.

Stay the course and never comprimise your morals.

Eventually we all bounce back

I'm going through an unusually large amount of shit lately. Yeah, I know, who isn't. What do you do to get through them? I honestly think that my lack of coping ability is making my problems worse.

Depending on how severe the problem, professional counseling.

A cycle with Winny and/or Dbol.

Visiting Internet chat rooms of people with problems similar to mine.

Make a life change -- new job, new clothes, new haircut, new attitude.

Read books that are on the subject that you are having a problem with.

And, oh yeah, sex is good too :)

Stay away from alcohol!!
Stay away from negative fuckers!!
Be real with your situation; assess it honestly, don't make excuses for anybody!!
Take action; vascillation is a form of safety (of not having to make choices)

Overall, remember that there is no dress rehearsal, this is it -- DECIDE how you are going to live YOUR life.
