What do you consider true knowledge

Cardinal Slin

New member
As they used to say in ancient Chinese Philosophy - Taoism, True knowledge is not knowing...

I am just curious what you all think is knowledge when it comes to giving out advice on aas?

I have seen members as young as 20 giving out advice on aas usage as well as members in their 50's giving out advice on aas as well.

I have seen members who have never used steroids give out advice as well as members who are big as hell give out advice but not always the correct advice.

The purpose of this post is not to call anyone out as we are all entitled to our opinions but rather I want to find out where you, as individual members, think the best advice comes from?

Is it from reading studies, and journals, is it from experience but not reading.

I personally know some pro bb's who claim using nolva to combat signs of prog gyno is the way to go. The same guys inject prop every third day, think you're joking if you tell them you can drink winstrol and so on and so forth... These guys are super nice, respectful and polite as well as very big but it does not mean their advice is right.

Basically, where would you rather advice come from?

A doctor, a chemist, a biologist, someone who doesnt know about the above but has a great body and has been using for decades or ....?

You tell me where you learned, what your mistakes were and where you would now recommend that advice come from?

Personally for me, my knowledge - limited - came from these boards back 10 years ago, trial and error (ended up in hospital more than once) and studying journals and studies.

Damn good question. My gut tells me to value experience more and that's where i've looked for advice. Guys like access for instance, years of experience and good results to back it up. It can be kind of challenging for n00bs though to pick these people out of the crowd and i think thats a big problem for guys getting started.

Definitely hear you but let's view it from a different angle...

This pro bb I know, very in tune with his body, great person, respected, friendly, polite, great body when bulking and cutting, he is also a personal trainer...

Yet he recommends doing prop (test and masteron every 3rd day) he would tell someone to keep nolva on hand in case you have gyno symptoms from deca, and his gh advice is take 6iu a day at night just before bed (may well be right with the different advice but I thought 2-3 times a day would be better)...

So while his body and his experience is much, his advice is not always spot on however a newbie would take his advice... (not on here but in real life).

People can be educated but not insightful.

People can be experienced but not have amassed much knowledge.

The Tao statement is to show that one must keep their mind open since there's always more to learn. But there are some truths and some non truths.

Hey, it's the internet...anyone can talk out of their ass. The key is to take from ALL sources, combine it with personal experience and try to develop good instincts.

Search for knowledge and the truth won't be far behind.

I try to stick to the basics when giving out AS help. It's mostly to the 1st and 2nd cycle guys if there cycle is out of whack, or to enforce the stats! haha I am not expericnced at all AS wise ( 1 cycle).
I am experienced in lifting as I have been doing it since 13 so that's about 12 years. I get my advice from more experienced fella's on here who I can trust by reading post and can see they are very knowledgable.

Ever read the Tao Te Ching

a person can only give GOOD advice about something if they have done it them self, seen others do it, and also researched it from as many angles as possible.

the larger the pool of truthful data that is collected on steroids (or anything) the more accurate assumptions and predictions become about them.

I tend to take advice from those who not only have done, but have goten results. take anthony roberts for example, he may have experience, but from the look of him he has not goten results.

and I use my own experience as a guide. if something does not sound right I make sure I reserch it even more.

That's smart but something a lot of people don't get.

I can say, "HEY! I used only 25 mgs of dbol and with proper training and diet I went from 180 to 210" But there will always be someone who says; "Yeah, but the guy over HERE weighs 260 -- he must know more. "

Or more to the point there will be all those who say bullshit you gained that much on 25mgs of dbol..... and it happens a lot - not the bull but people calling it bull

We should all search out the value of the source that is giving us the imformation, never take any information as hte gosphel. Then reflect through the information with the boot test. If you feel you are wading in shit than the info is probably just that. All our chemistry is different some people will respond fine to prop every 3rd day, and not be adversly effected by the swings. Some people will have great results from 300mg of test/week where others should be at 600mg.

Some of the greatest coaches in the world never stepped foot on the field.
Some of the greatest players in the world could never have what it takes to couch others.

some people can study a subject for an hour and understand it better then others who have studied it for a year.

some people have asked so many damn questions and watched others for so long, well others have never asked any one else and never cared to watch others.

Some people have a track record of helping hundreds or thousands of people, others have helped no one but them self.

Hundreds of factors come to mind.

Ef is a place of plenty. every one has something to bring to the table. You can pick it up and eat it or pass it along.

I myself tend to trust the chef that has cooked the most meals. Kind of like when you get a flier that says come eat at Joe's but 20 of your friends tell you they eat at Fill's and it was the best meal they ever had.

You don't run out and try to find out where the chef went to school,or how he learned how to cook. The fact that the food comes out great is what matters.
