What do you consider the base supplements?

I got away from training for awhile but am getting back into it and ready to start supplements again.

What would you consider the base platform, or bottom of the triangle, for must-have supplement?

So far, I am thinking:
Creatine, Whey protein/MRP's, multivitamin, Vitamin C.

Anything else? I was thinking glutamine, but there are several posts on here kinda trashing glutamine, saying it doesn't work/not absorbed.

What are your essentials?
