What do you clock at on DSL Reports Speedtest

Dont worry the Sheeple will Optical Carrier Levels soon up to 40 Gbps and beyond!

1517 / 75 But it all depends on time of day and traffic and all. Everyone I know with dsl gets similar or better all the time.

I am now accepting donations for a DS3 though. :D

1924 kbps down

341 kbps up

i'm on Time Warner RoadRunner Cable

I DID MINE ON BANDWIDTHPLACE.COM.......1.2MBPS/145KPS USING AOL AS A BROWSER.

It's telling me 1309/563. But I am testing it over my wireless LAN connection that's only getting "good" signal.

When I run a speed test from my ISP's site (which should be accurate since I'm only going straight out to their site) I get results of about 5-7Mbps which is about what I see on download typically..............so I do not trust these dslreports #'s

Mine doesnt make sense....I'm on a cable and download at 3400 kbps and upload at 98 kbps. the upload makes sense but download seems too fast for a cable?

Just tried it again 1384/602

But I know it's way inaccurate. I just downloaded a 150 MB file from my company's FTP site and it was coming down at about 6.5 MB on DAP.

Online sites that do speed tests are all pretty much crap.

If you want to see how fast your interenet is capable of, go to a site with a good connection (assuming there's no bottlenecks) and just download a big file and observe what the average speed of the download is.

714kbps download
87.2kbps transfer rate
122kbps upload
