What do docs find from blood tests for checkups?

hey all, just wondering, im a healthy able bodied male, in shape, good bp, etc. im considering starting a cycle however i just got back on medical coverage and i have a checkup coming soon. im wondering, if they take a ua/blood test etc. what all will they test for? would deca or winny throw off any test results they may get from me? i took a TB test once after finishing a deca cycle, and it made the test turn up positive. kinda fretting a little, what do yall think? thanks!

drs do not check for any kind of drug use. if your levels are off then they will probably explain what is wrong and try to get you to tell him what you think could be causing it. only work and insurance exams check for drug use and they dont even check for steroids....yet.

okay well an insurance exam is probably what I will get then because i just got onto my health coverage, havent had an exam yet. anyone know of any websites which cover topics such as this?

Google it bro. My understanding of this is such...testing costs money and insurance testing is for the purpose of determining if you're going to be a financial burdon while under coverage (ie cancer, disease, etc). Drug's don't really fall under this.

I wouldn't worry, but there is no universal policy, testing can vary. Especially given the international nature of this board.

he's probably just going to do a lipid profile. cholesterol, liver function, t3, t4, etc. i would actually take the opportunity to get a test, free test, estriadol, and sex hormone binding globulin evaluation if he's willing. always good to have baseline numbers as a point of reference. the more you know, the better.

don't worry, the doc has no interest in busting you. if insurance drops you due to steroid use, the doc dosen't get paid. the most you have to fear from the doc is a scowl.

They test for the usual Cholestrol and shit like that, Anything else you'd want or need done your going to have to ask first

so how long would say a 25mg dose of winny ed, as well as 200mg deca a week take to effect these levels? i know it all depends on the individual, but is there an approx. time range?? 2-3 days? 1-2 weeks? a month? thanks in advance guys, you're always my number 1 source for the crap that matters

alright, well im still fretting heading to the doc, i think i might wait till next wed. so far ive taken about 150mg winny in the last week. I keep searching for what i could be tested for with no avail. dont really know what to search for or what to look up. anyways, if anyone else has their .02 to throw in, let me hear it. thanks!

he's not going to test you for steroids bro. i don't know how else to say it. if you have more questions about the specifics, pm me.

if he wanted to test you for steroids, could he find out at this point? YES.

will he, and do you have to worry? NO.

regular checkups don't usually include a blood panel, but when they do, they only check levels to screen for disease, not drug use.

All they may see is elevated liver values, cholesterol levels and possible BP depending on what you are on. But they def won't test you for aas...........to much $$$ to be worth it
