Hi-
I injured my chest in a rather weird way while lifting. I was doing cable curls with a easy curl bar and I tried to over-ephasize the stretch to my biceps and I seem to have hurt my chest in the process. I know that arching the back and whole rest of it is bad form, but I stupidly did this.
At first it seemed like a muscle pull, but now it's diferent. Say I reach my arms over my head and arch my back is when I really feel the injury. I was wondering if I could have somehow created a hairline fracture of my sternum or something crazy like that. It hurts right in the upper chest area and it seems to be on both sides.
It's almost 2 weeks later and I still can't lift and it seems pretty much the same. Not really painful, but enough to know that it's there and I don't want to worsen it so I have not lifted in the meantime,
Anyone have any ideas as to what this is?
Thanks in advance for any help.
